Position: Draftsman Designer

Location: Riyadh & Dammam, Saudi Arabia | Offshore/Remote Opportunities Available

Type: Full-time

As a Draftsman Designer at ABYAT, you'll play a key role in transforming approved design concepts into precise technical drawings and high-quality 3D visualizations that support client presentations, production, and project execution. Working closely with our Sales Designers and technical teams, you'll ensure that every design is visually compelling, technically accurate, and aligned with ABYAT's premium design standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transform approved design concepts into photorealistic 3D renders for client presentations.
• Develop high-quality visualizations with accurate materials, lighting, textures, and scale.
• Apply rendering and post-production techniques to create presentation-ready visuals.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings and shop drawings based on approved design concepts.
• Ensure technical drawings meet production, installation, and manufacturing requirements.
• Maintain consistency between approved designs and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with Sales Designers to clarify design specifications, dimensions, and spatial requirements.
• Coordinate with production, suppliers, and operations teams to ensure technical feasibility.
• Revise drawings and visualizations based on feedback and approved design changes.
• Maintain organized project documentation while ensuring accuracy, quality, and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in drafting, 3D visualization, or design support roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience within furniture retail, interior fit-out, or showroom environments is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in SketchUp, 3D modeling, and rendering software, with the ability to produce photorealistic visuals.
• Proficiency in technical drafting software, such as AutoCAD, and preparation of detailed shop drawings.
• Strong understanding of dimensions, materials, lighting, textures, and technical detailing.
• Ability to translate design concepts into accurate, production-ready drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple design requirements.
• A portfolio showcasing previous 3D renderings and technical/shop drawings is mandatory for consideration.
