JOB TITLE
AI & Creative Coding Developer - Generative Art & Interactive Systems

ABOUT THE JOB
De Art is looking for an AI & Creative Coding Developer interested in exploring the intersection of programming, artificial intelligence, and visual arts.

This role focuses on developing creative experiments, generative artworks, and interactive visual experiences using code, algorithms, and AI-powered technologies.

The ideal candidate is passionate about creative technology and enjoys turning computational ideas into new forms of artistic expression.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop generative art projects using programming and algorithmic techniques.
- Experiment with AI models and tools for creative visual production.
- Build interactive visual experiences and digital art prototypes.
- Explore creative coding frameworks and technologies such as p5.js, Processing, Three.js, or TouchDesigner.
- Combine machine learning, procedural generation, and visual design in experimental projects.
- Research emerging developments in computational creativity and AI-generated art.
- Collaborate with artists, researchers, and the De Art editorial team.
- Document experiments, workflows, and project outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Background or practical experience in programming, creative coding, computer graphics, or digital media.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as JavaScript or Python.
- Experience with creative coding tools or frameworks is an advantage.
- Interest in generative AI, machine learning, and computational creativity.
- Understanding of visual arts, digital design, or interactive media.
- Creative problem-solving and independent research skills.
- A portfolio of creative coding projects, experiments, or digital artworks is desirable.
