Job Role - Platform Security Engineer / Cyer Security Operation Specialist

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Operations Specialist to manage Patch Management, Vulnerability Management, SAMA Alerts, SOC Alerts, and Cybersecurity Incident Management. The candidate will coordinate with Infrastructure, Network, Application, and Security teams to ensure timely remediation of security vulnerabilities, incident resolution, regulatory compliance, and adherence to agreed SLAs.

• Patch Management: Plan, coordinate, and track OS and application patch deployment across servers and endpoints, ensuring timely implementation and compliance.
• Vulnerability Management: Review CVEs and vulnerability scan reports, assess risks using CVSS scores, prioritize remediation, and validate closure.
• SAMA Alerts Management: Monitor and assess SAMA cybersecurity alerts, coordinate required actions, and track remediation and compliance.
• SOC Alerts Management: Review and coordinate investigation and resolution of SOC alerts, ensuring timely escalation and closure.
• Cybersecurity Incident Management: Coordinate incident investigation, containment, remediation, root cause analysis, and closure.
• Work closely with Infrastructure, Network, Application, and SOC teams to ensure remediation within agreed SLAs.
• Maintain vulnerability registers, patch compliance records, incident logs, and periodic security reports.
• Support internal and external cybersecurity audits and regulatory compliance requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in Cybersecurity Operations, Patch Management, or Vulnerability Management.
• Strong understanding of CVEs, CVSS scoring, vulnerability assessment, and remediation processes.
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux environments, servers, endpoints, and network security.
• Experience with tools such as Qualys, Tenable Nessus, Rapid7, SCCM, Intune, or WSUS.
• Familiarity with SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, or IBM QRadar.
• Knowledge of SAMA Cybersecurity Framework and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong coordination, analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
