GENERAL ROLE:
As
F&B Team Leader - Arabic Speaking at Miraval The Red Sea, your primary role is to lead daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts while creating thoughtful, personalized, and memorable dining experiences that reflect Miraval's philosophy of mindful hospitality. You will lead by example on the floor, ensuring exceptional service standards, smooth operations, and meaningful guest interactions.
Working closely with the Assistant Outlet Manager and Outlet Manager, you will coach and support the Food & Beverage team to consistently deliver intuitive, caring, and authentic service. As an Arabic-speaking Team Leader, you will also help build genuine connections with Arabic-speaking guests, ensuring their cultural expectations and personal preferences are recognized and thoughtfully anticipated.

Shift Leadership & Operations
- Lead and supervise daily outlet operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings, communicate daily priorities, menu updates, guest preferences, and operational information.
- Allocate duties effectively and support colleagues throughout service.
- Monitor restaurant setup, cleanliness, ambiance, and readiness before, during, and after service.
- Ensure opening, operating, and closing procedures are completed according to Hyatt and Miraval standards.
- Support the Assistant Outlet Manager in achieving departmental objectives and service excellence.
Guest Experience & Mindful Hospitality
- Deliver warm, genuine, and personalized service that exceeds guest expectations.
- Build authentic relationships with guests by listening carefully, anticipating needs, and creating memorable moments.
- Provide exceptional service to Arabic-speaking guests through culturally appropriate communication and hospitality.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and feedback.
- Promote Miraval dining experiences, wellness cuisine, specialty beverages, and resort experiences confidently and authentically.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead by example, inspiring colleagues through professionalism, positivity, and mindful service.
- Coach, mentor, and provide on-the-job guidance to Food & Beverage colleagues.
- Support onboarding and departmental training for new colleagues.
- Monitor colleague performance during shifts and provide constructive feedback to management.
- Foster teamwork, collaboration, inclusion, and accountability within the outlet.
Service Quality & Operational Standards
- Ensure Hyatt and Miraval service standards are consistently maintained.
- Monitor food presentation, beverage quality, service timing, and overall guest satisfaction.
- Maintain excellent product knowledge, including menus, ingredients, dietary requirements, and wellness-focused offerings.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, sanitation, HACCP, and food safety standards.
- Report maintenance, equipment, or operational issues promptly.
Inventory & Resource Management
- Assist with stock control, operating supplies, and beverage inventories.
- Monitor proper handling of equipment and minimize operational waste.
- Ensure responsible use of departmental resources while maintaining service excellence.
Health, Safety & Sustainability
- Promote safe working practices and ensure colleagues follow all health and safety procedures.
- Support Miraval's sustainability initiatives through responsible waste management and resource conservation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment throughout every shift.
General Responsibilities
- Understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Colleague Handbook and the hotel's policies on Fire, Hygiene, Health, Safety, and Wellbeing.
- Report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name badge at all times.
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene.
- Maintain positive working relationships with colleagues across all departments.
- Attend and contribute to departmental meetings, learning forums, and hotel initiatives.
- Fully support Hyatt and Miraval operational standards and brand requirements.
- Undertake any reasonable tasks and secondary duties as assigned by the Assistant Outlet Manager or Outlet Manager.
- Project a positive, calm, and mindful attitude at all times.
- Provide courteous, professional, and caring service to colleagues and guests.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of Food & Beverage experience within luxury hospitality, with previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of luxury restaurant operations and service standards.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and guest engagement skills.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with a passion for coaching and developing colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in Arabic and English, both spoken and written.
- Knowledge of POS systems and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS (IF ANY):
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout service.
- Ability to lift and carry trays, supplies, and operational equipment as required.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Wellness Destination Resort located in Shura Island.
- Working Indoor and Outdoor as required.
