تعلن شركة Bureau Veritas عن توفر وظيفة فني مختبر تحليل النار في جدة، المملكة العربية السعودية، وذلك ضمن قسم مختبر المعادن، تحت إشراف مدير الإنتاج.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • التخصص: الكيمياء / العلوم / الكيمياء الجيولوجية
  • المؤهل العلمي: درجة البكالوريوس أو الدبلوم
  • الخبرة: 3 سنوات كحد أدنى في مختبر اختبارات أو ما يعادلها

المهارات المطلوبة

  • إجادة إجراءات الاختبارات المعملية
  • الإلمام بمتطلبات ISO/IEC 17025
  • الإلمام بمعايير الاختبار الوطنية والدولية
  • المهارة في استخدام أدوات ومعدات المختبر
  • المعرفة ببروتوكولات السلامة

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • وزن العينات والمواد المعدنية بدقة.
  • خلط العينات مع الليثارج داخل خزانات الاستخلاص.
  • تحميل العينات المحضرة في بوتقات وصهرها في الأفران.
  • صب كميات محكومة من المواد المنصهرة في قوالب.
  • نقل المواد بأمان باستخدام عربة يدوية.
  • الحفاظ على نظافة وسلامة وتنظيم منطقة الفرن والتحليل.
  • عملية الكوبيلاشن (فصل المعادن الثمينة).
  • تنظيف وتحضير ووزن كريات الرصاص.
  • تحضير خلطات الصهور (ليثارج، بوراكس، رماد الصودا، سيليكا).
  • تشغيل فرن المفل والتحكم في درجات حرارته.
  • جمع وتلميع حبيبات المعادن الثمينة.
  • وزن حبيبات الذهب/الفضة باستخدام موازين دقيقة.
  • حسابات تحليل النار لحساب تركيز المعادن الثمينة بناءً على وزن الحبة والعينة.
  • معايير مراقبة الجودة: تشغيل العينات الفارغة والمكررة والمعايير لضمان الدقة.
  • تتبع العينات: توثيق كل خطوة من استلام العينة إلى التقرير النهائي.
  • تنفيذ برامج السلامة الخاصة بشركة Bureau Veritas ضمن الفريق.
  • الامتثال في جميع الأوقات لجميع المتطلبات القانونية وسياسات وإجراءات وممارسات الصحة والسلامة والبيئة الخاصة بالشركة.
  • الحفاظ على مناطق العمل الشخصية نظيفة وخالية من المخاطر، والإبلاغ فوراً عن أي انحراف/خلل/خطر لمدير الموقع/المشرف المباشر/ممثل الصحة والسلامة والبيئة.
  • الإبلاغ الفوري لممثل الصحة والسلامة والبيئة عن أي خطر تم تحديده حديثاً والمشاركة في وضع ضوابط تشغيلية مناسبة للقضاء على المخاطر ذات الصلة أو تقليلها.
  • الإبلاغ الفوري لممثل الصحة والسلامة والبيئة عن أي حادث صحة وسلامة وبيئة والتعاون في التحقيق، والإبلاغ عن جميع الحوادث واتخاذ الإجراءات عند رؤية أي تصرف أو حالة غير آمنة.
  • الاعتناء بالصحة والسلامة المهنية الخاصة وبالآخرين الذين قد يتأثرون بما تقوم به (أو لا تقوم به).
  • التعاون مع الآخرين في مجال الصحة والسلامة، وعدم التدخل في أو إساءة استخدام أي شيء مقدم للصحة أو السلامة أو البيئة.

Position Details

  • Job Title: Fire Assay Laboratory Technician
  • Location / Department: Kingdom of Saudi Arabia - Jeddah (South Jeddah) - Minerals Laboratory
  • Reporting to: Production Manager

Minimum Required Qualifications

  • Specialty: Chemistry / Science / Geochem
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degre or Diplom
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in a testing laboratory or equivalent

Technical Knowledge

  • Proficient in laboratory testing procedures
  • Familiar with ISO/IEC 17025 requirements
  • Acquainted with national and international testing standards
  • Skilled in laboratory tools and equipment
  • Knowledgeable in safety protocols

Responsibilities / Authorities / Accountabilities (Primary Functions)

  • Accurately weighing samples and metal materials.
  • Mixing samples with litharge inside extraction cupboards.
  • Loading prepared samples into crucibles and melting them in furnaces.
  • Pouring controlled quantities of molten material into moulds.
  • Moving materials safely using a hand‑held pump truck.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and well‑organised furnace and assay area.
  • Cupellation Process - Performing cupellation to separate precious metals.
  • Lead Button Handling - Cleaning, preparing, and weighing lead buttons.
  • Flux Preparation - Preparing flux mixtures (litharge, borax, soda ash, silica).
  • Muffle Furnace Operation - Operating and controlling muffle furnace temperatures.
  • Precious Metal Collection - Collecting and polishing precious‑metal beads.
  • Bead Weighing - Weighing gold/silver beads using microbalances.
  • Fire Assay Calculations - Calculating precious‑metal concentrations based on bead and sample weights.
  • Quality Control Standards - Running blanks, duplicates, and standards to ensure accuracy.
  • Sample Tracking - Documenting each step from sample receipt to final reporting

QHSSE Responsibilities

  • Implementing BV safety programs within the team
  • Comply at all times with all applicable legal requirements, BV HSE
  • Policies, procedures and practices.
  • Maintain personal work areas tidy and hazard free and report any deviation/fault/hazard immediately to the location manager/line manager/HSE Representative
  • Report immediately to HSE Representative any newly identified hazard and participate in devising suitable operational control to eliminate/minimize the pertinent risk.
  • Report immediately to HSE Representative any HSE incident and cooperate in investigating Reporting all incidents and taking action whenever they see an unsafe act or condition
  • Take care of your own health and safety and that of people who may be affected by what you do (or do not do).
  • Co-operate with others on health and safety, and not interfere with, or misuse, anything provided for your health, safety or welfare.
