Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role located in Mecca. The Pharmacist will dispense medications accurately, review prescriptions for appropriateness, and provide clear counseling to patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and interactions. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate pharmacy records, managing inventory and storage conditions, and ensuring compliance with Saudi pharmaceutical regulations and clinic policies. The Pharmacist will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize pharmacotherapy, support medication safety initiatives, and participate in quality improvement activities within the clinic. The role also involves educating staff and patients on best practices in medication management and contributing to a safe, efficient pharmacy environment.
Qualifications
- Relevant academic background, such as a Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure in Saudi Arabia, with good standing and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and medication safety principles, including drug interactions and contraindications.
- Experience with prescription processing, medication dispensing, and patient counseling in a clinical or community pharmacy setting.
- Familiarity with clinical guidelines, electronic health records, and pharmacy management systems.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams and diverse patients.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage inventory, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
- Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, continuous learning, and adherence to Masters Clinics policies and standards.
- Ability to work on-site in Mecca, with flexibility to support clinic hours and operational needs.
- Prior experience in hospital or clinic-based pharmacy in Saudi Arabia is an advantage.
