How You’ll Make An Impact
- Perform Assembly, repair and routine tests (Mechanical, 10KV, HV, functional & resistance measurements) of GIS bays (including components & modules) according to the prepared work instructions, drawings, bill of materials, checklists, guidelines and customer order data.
- Fulfill orders related to work packages according to production data and instructions.
- Self-check of work packages results, filling out and confirming on assigned checklists and Protocols.
- Target the best performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery time.
- Quality control and immediate escalation of Quality issues. Record deviation, support root cause of failure and write quality problems / non-conformance reports.
- Support for gathering product improvement comment/feedback from the GIS LSC (local Service Center) engineers.
- Actively support teamwork, effectively communicate and collaborate with internal customer/stakeholder/ colleagues (assembly, testing, logistics...etc).
- Independently follow the factory rules & guidelines related to safety, quality, environment, recycling and housekeeping.
- Maintain a safe working environment by following ABB-HSE guidelines and reporting of any irregularities to superiors.
- Contribute actively to continued improvement process and Lean culture.
- Providing feedback, sharing ideas, and observations whenever possible.
- Employee shall also carry out any tasks that are assigned by management necessary to fulfil the job requirements
- Adequate handling of factory equipment and tools, maintain test equipment's and sustain proper continuous calibration.
- You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- 2-3 years' experience in laboratory or testing activities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Reading and understanding technical drawings and material lists.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
