Job Description

We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Planning Engineer to join our project team. The 

selected candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and updating project schedules while 

ensuring effective planning, progress tracking, and coordination to support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and update project schedules in line with project requirements and timelines.

• Monitor project progress and identify delays, risks, and potential impacts on project completion.

• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to collect progress data and 

updates.

• Prepare progress reports, dashboards, and planning-related documentation.

• Analyze project performance and provide recommendations for recovery and improvement 

plans.

• Support resource planning, manpower allocation, and project coordination activities.

• Ensure planning activities comply with project objectives, company procedures, and client 

requirements.

• Participate in project meetings and support project controls and reporting functions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

• Minimum 4-8 years of relevant experience in project planning within construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring practices.

• Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and related planning software.

• Experience in preparing project reports, progress analysis, and recovery plans.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership is preferred/required.
