Purpose of Job
The job holder is responsible for managing and operating ZATCA IT systems and databases in order to deliver IT services within business operational requirements according to best practices and standards.

Job Details
Strategy and Planning
- Implement and ensure the achievement of ZATCA's strategy, aspirations and Systems and Database Operations specific objectives
- Provide input to identify Systems and Database Operations required projects to meet future demands
- Implement plans and provide input to enable achievement of Systems and Database Operations goals that support ZATCA’s overall strategic plans
Budget Management
- Participate in Systems and Database Operations annual budgeting cycle and process
- Manage Systems and Database Operations efficiently and within budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered
System / Database Operations Management
- Provide support to ZATCA systems and database daily activities to ensure alignment with working plans and assist in handling related issues
- Oversee ZATCA systems and database periodical health checks to ensure that all systems are tuned and optimized
- Supervise data backup process and archiving systems ensuring data integrity and security to minimize risks of potential data losses
- Monitor security of enterprise information systems (websites, applications, etc.), and provide Information Security Solutions to enhance systems’ protection
- Oversee the installation, configuration and upgrades of software, hardware, operating systems, and processes to ensure that all related activities are conducted as per the requirements
- Oversee the troubleshooting and technical support activities to ensure proper and timely response to systems and database issues and outages
- Supervise change requests related to IT systems and databases and provide proper evaluation of their impact on IT strategy and IT enterprise architecture to minimize risks related to requested changes in implementation
- Review and analyze systems and database operations performance reports to provide insights and recommend improvement actions
People Management
- Participate in the identification and recruitment of key talent
- Guide, mentor and support direct reports in order to execute duties according to set policies and processes
- Perform on-the-job training for direct reports and provide feedback
Communication and Contacs
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent is required
- Master’s degree in Information Technology Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent is preferred
Experience
An optimal of 7 years of relevant experience, with a preferred 2 years of experience in managerial level
