Job Description:

The Director of Project Controls is a critical leadership position responsible for the strategic planning, development, and implementation of project controls across multiple initiatives within the organization. This role demands a comprehensive understanding of project management methodologies, as well as advanced analytical skills to establish effective budget management, forecasting, cost control strategies, and risk assessment frameworks. The incumbent will lead a team of project control professionals, ensuring projects are executed on time, within scope, and budget while meeting quality standards. This role requires exceptional communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from project managers to executive leadership, driving accountability and delivering insights that inform strategic decision-making. The Director will also spearhead the development of tools and processes that enhance the project controls function and contribute to organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Requirements:

• A Master's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project controls, project management, or related disciplines, with a proven track record in leadership roles.
• Deep knowledge of project control methodologies, tools, and techniques, including Earned Value Management (EVM), forecasting, and budgeting.
• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale projects, ideally in industries such as construction, engineering, or infrastructure.
• Expertise in financial analysis and reporting, with the ability to interpret complex financial data to inform project strategies.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with an aptitude for building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated capability in risk management, identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proficient in project management software and tools, as well as advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive project control strategies that align with organizational goals and ensure effective project execution.
• Lead the project controls team in establishing and maintaining standards for project performance measurement, management reporting, and cost control procedures.
