Job Description:

The Head of Finance will serve as the strategic leader of the finance department, overseeing financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities while ensuring the alignment of financial and business objectives. This role demands an acute understanding of financial risk management, investment strategies, and corporate fiscal policy to steer the organization toward sustainable growth. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with executive leadership to drive financial performance through insightful analysis, robust strategic planning, and implementation of innovative financial strategies. Additionally, the Head of Finance will establish strong governance frameworks to ensure compliance with relevant regulations while fostering a high-performance culture that emphasizes accountability, teamwork, and ethical financial practices.

Job Requirements:

• At least 15 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, particularly in environments with complexity and scale.
• Proven track record in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), financial reporting, and statutory compliance in a multinational corporation.
• Experience in leading finance transformation initiatives, including automation of finance processes and implementation of advanced financial systems.
• Strong expertise in financial risk management and capital markets, with the ability to assess and mitigate financial risks effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute long-term financial strategies that align with organizational goals and drive stakeholder value.
• Advanced knowledge of financial modeling, valuation methods, and budgeting processes.
• Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, with a capacity to articulate complex financial information to non-financial audiences.
• Experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) processes, including due diligence and post-merger integration.
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks and governance practices, with a focus on compliance and ethical financial management.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA, or equivalent) are highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a diverse finance team, fostering a collaborative work environment that promotes professional development and high-quality performance.

• Manage relationships with external financial stakeholders, including auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies, to uphold the organization's reputation and support strategic initiatives.
• Oversee cash flow management, capital allocation, and investment strategies, ensuring optimal utilization of financial resources to support growth initiatives.
• Collaborate with department heads to assess and establish program investment needs, evaluate planned expenditures, and monitor financial performance against targets.
• Lead finance-related projects, including process improvement initiatives and technology integration, to enhance operational efficiency and data integrity.
• Regularly update the executive team and Board of Directors on the organization’s financial status, emerging trends, and strategic opportunities.
• Ensure a framework of financial controls is maintained, minimizing risks while promoting strong ethical practices across the organization.
