شركة بارسونز (Parsons Corporation) تبحث عن خبير متخصص في الجسور والأنفاق (SME - Bridges and Tunnels Expert) للعمل في مكة وجدة، السعودية. توفر هذه الوظيفة فرصة لتقديم خبرات فنية متخصصة في تخطيط وتصميم وتنفيذ مشاريع البنية التحتية للجسور والأنفاق، مع ضمان حلول إنشائية سليمة تقنيًا وفعالة من حيث التكلفة وآمنة ومتوافقة مع المعايير والاشتراطات الرسمية، لدعم تطوير شبكات نقل عالمية المستوى.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • القيادة الفنية للجسور والأنفاق: تقديم قيادة فنية لتصميم وهندسة وتقييم الجسور والأنفاق والمنشآت تحت الأرض والمنشآت المرتبطة بها.
  • مراجعة واعتماد وتحسين الحلول الإنشائية بما في ذلك: عناصر السطح العلوي والبنية التحتية، الأساسات والتفاعل بين التربة والمنشأ، التصميم الزلزالي وتصنيف الأحمال، قابلية التشييد ومراحل البناء.
  • الإشراف على وتوجيه الاستشاريين والمقاولين في: منهجيات التصميم الإنشائي، تخطيط محاذاة الأنفاق، تقنيات البناء تحت الأرض.
  • المعايير والكودات والتكامل الجيوتقني: ضمان التصاميم وفقًا للمعايير الدولية والوطنية مثل AASHTO وEurocodes وBS وMOT وMoMRA والكودات الأخرى ذات الصلة.
  • تقييم التقارير الجيوتقنية والظروف تحت السطحية لتحديد الحلول الإنشائية المثلى للجسور والمنشآت تحت الأرض وطرق إنشاء الأنفاق (مثل TBM و cut-and-cover و NATM).
  • آلات حفر الأنفاق ومنهجيات البناء: قيادة ومراجعة جميع أنشطة التصميم المتعلقة بآلات حفر الأنفاق، وتحديد أنواع الآلات المناسبة بناءً على الظروف الجيوتقنية والمحاذاة (مثل EPB TBM و slurry TBM و Mixshield و Double Shield و Gripper TBM).
  • تحديد متطلبات الدفع والعزم لآلات حفر الأنفاق ومعايير الأداء الرئيسية، وتقييم ومقارنة حلول إنشاء الأنفاق المختلفة بناءً على سياق المشروع والجيولوجيا والقيود الحضرية والعوامل البيئية وكفاءة التكلفة وقابلية التشييد ودراسات الحالة العالمية والابتكارات.
  • تقديم مدخلات استراتيجية حول اختيار منهجيات إنشاء الأنفاق بما يتوافق مع أهداف المشروع والجدول الزمني ومتطلبات الجهات المحلية واستراتيجيات تخفيف المخاطر.
  • المشاركة مع مزودي حلول الأنفاق العالميين ومصنعي الآلات والمقاولين المتخصصين للبقاء على اطلاع بأحدث المعدات وتقنيات الأتمتة والمراقبة الرقمية والأجهزة وطرق البناء المعتمدة على البيانات.
  • مواكبة الابتكارات في الهندسة الإنشائية وتقنيات الأنفاق لتعزيز حلول المشروع والهندسة القيمية.
  • دعم تقييمات المخاطر وخطط التخفيف للحفريات العميقة وأعمال الأنفاق وبناء الجسور والتدخلات الإنشائية المعقدة.
  • قيادة إعداد ومراجعة المواصفات الفنية ووثائق المناقصات وتقديرات التكلفة واختيار المواد ومعايير الأداء.
  • مراجعة نماذج التحليل الإنشائي والرسومات المعدة من قبل الاستشاريين، وضمان الدقة الفنية والامتثال للكودات ومتطلبات الجهات والاتساق بين نية التصميم ووثائق البناء.
  • دعم عمليات الموافقات الرسمية والمشاركة في العروض الفنية والتقديمات الرسمية والتوضيحات.
  • التعاون مع فرق التصميم والجيوتقنية والمرور والمرافق لحل تحديات الواجهات وتحسين التكامل الإنشائي في الممرات المعقدة والبيئات الحضرية.
  • المساهمة في تمارين الهندسة القيمية لتصميمات الجسور والأنفاق لتحسين الكفاءة وتقليل التكلفة وتعزيز قابلية الصيانة والأداء طوال دورة الحياة.
  • مراقبة أنشطة البناء المتعلقة بالجسور والأنفاق لضمان الالتزام بالتصميم والمواصفات ومعايير الجودة والسلامة المناسبة.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية أو الهندسة الإنشائية.
  • (يفضل) درجة الماجستير أو شهادة متخصصة في هندسة الجسور أو الأنفاق.
  • يُعد الحصول على صفة مهندس معتمد (مثل PE أو CEng أو ما يعادلها) ميزة إضافية.
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 15 عامًا في تصميم وتنفيذ مشاريع كبرى للجسور والأنفاق.
  • مشاركة مثبتة في مشاريع دولية أو حضرية واسعة النطاق ذات متطلبات فنية ومتطلبات أصحاب مصلحة معقدة.

المهارات المطلوبة

  • خبرة في بيئات البنية التحتية البارزة ذات المتطلبات الفنية والتنظيمية ومتطلبات أصحاب المصلحة المعقدة.

Job Description

Parsons is looking for a SME - Bridges and Tunnels Expert! Provide specialized technical expertise in the planning, design, and delivery of bridge and tunnel infrastructure. Ensure all structural solutions are technically sound, cost-efficient, safe, and compliant with applicable standards and authority requirements, supporting the development of world-class transportation networks.

What You’ll Be Doing

Technical Leadership - Bridges & Tunnels

  • Provide technical leadership for the design, engineering, and assessment of bridges, tunnels, underpasses, and associated structures.
  • Review, validate, and enhance structural solutions, including:
    • Superstructure and substructure elements
    • Foundations and ground-structure interaction
    • Seismic design and load ratings
    • Constructability and construction staging
  • Oversee and guide consultants and contractors in:
    • Structural design methodologies
    • Tunnel alignment planning
    • Underground construction techniques
Codes, Standards, & Geotechnical Integration

  • Ensure designs adhere to international and national standards such as AASHTO, Eurocodes, BS, MOT, MoMRA, and other relevant codes.
  • Evaluate geotechnical reports and subsurface conditions to determine optimal:
    • Structural solutions for bridges and underground structures
    • Tunnel construction methods (e.g. TBM, cut-and-cover, NATM)
Tunneling Machines & Construction Methodologies

  • Lead and review all design activities related to tunneling machines.
  • Specify appropriate machine types based on geotechnical and alignment conditions, including EPB TBMs, slurry TBMs, Mixshield, Double Shield, and Gripper TBMs.
  • Define tunneling machine thrust and torque requirements and key performance criteria.
  • Assess and benchmark various tunneling construction solutions based on:
    • Project context and geology
    • Urban constraints and environmental factors
    • Cost-efficiency and constructability
    • Global tunneling case studies and innovations
  • Provide strategic input on the selection of tunneling construction methodologies aligned with:
    • Project goals and schedule
    • Local authority requirements
    • Risk mitigation strategies
Industry Engagement & Innovation

  • Engage with global tunneling solution providers, machine manufacturers, and specialist contractors to stay updated on:
    • Latest equipment and automation technologies
    • Digital monitoring, instrumentation, and data-driven construction methods
  • Keep abreast of innovations in structural engineering and tunneling technologies to inform project solutions and value engineering

Risk, Approvals & Documentation

  • Support risk assessments and mitigation plans for:
    • Deep excavations
    • Tunneling works
    • Bridge construction and complex structural interventions
  • Lead the preparation and review of:
    • Technical specifications
    • Tender documents
    • Cost estimates
    • Material selection and performance criteria
  • Review structural analysis models and drawings prepared by consultants, ensuring:
    • Technical accuracy
    • Compliance with codes and authority requirements
    • Consistency between design intent and construction documents
  • Support authority approval processes and participate in:
    • Technical presentations
    • Formal submissions and clarifications
Integration, Value Engineering & Construction Support

  • Collaborate with design, geotechnical, traffic, and utility teams to:
    • Resolve interface challenges
    • Optimize structural integration in complex corridors and urban environments
  • Contribute to value engineering exercises for bridge and tunnel designs to:
    • Improve efficiency
    • Reduce cost
    • Enhance maintainability and lifecycle performance
  • Monitor construction activities related to bridges and tunnels to ensure:
    • Adherence to design and specifications
    • Appropriate quality control and safety standards
What Required Skills You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • Master’s degree or specialized certification in bridge or tunnel engineering preferred
  • Chartered Engineer status (e.g. PE, CEng, or equivalent) is an advantage
  • 15+ years of experience in the design and delivery of major bridge and tunnel infrastructure
  • Demonstrated involvement in international or large-scale urban projects with complex technical and stakeholder environments
