The Clinic Coordinator is responsible for coordinating daily clinic operations, ensuring smooth patient flow, supporting physicians and clinical staff, managing appointment schedules, and maintaining high standards of patient care and administrative efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the daily operations of the clinic to ensure efficient workflow.
- Manage physicians' schedules and optimize appointment availability.
- Monitor patient flow and minimize waiting times.
- Coordinate communication between patients, physicians, nurses, and administrative departments.
- Ensure patient registration and medical records are complete and accurate.
- Follow up on pending appointments, referrals, and patient requests.
- Assist in resolving patient concerns and service-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies, quality standards, and healthcare regulations.
- Coordinate with insurance companies regarding patient eligibility and approvals when required.
- Prepare operational reports and monitor clinic performance indicators.
- Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance patient experience.
- Support inventory coordination for clinic supplies when assigned.
- Train and guide front desk staff on clinic procedures when needed.
- Perform other administrative duties assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Medical Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare or clinic environment.
- Experience in clinic coordination or medical administration is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinic management systems.
- Good command of Arabic and English.
