Job Title: Systems Administrator
Job Location: Al Nakhla, Saudi Arabia
Job Responsibilities
Trace Systems is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support the USMTM CITS contract in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The Systems Administrator provides operations and maintenance for Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, storage, backup and recovery, infrastructure services, messaging support, and mission applications across classified and unclassified environments.
- Install, configure, administer, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server systems and approved enterprise applications.
- Administer Active Directory, organizational units, security groups, Group Policy, account provisioning, privileged access, and service accounts.
- Manage DNS, DHCP, file, print, web, certificate-related, directory synchronization, and other core infrastructure services.
- Support Microsoft, database, SharePoint, backup, print, Active Roles, ticketing, and other CCB-approved servers and applications.
- Maintain VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or other approved virtualization platforms and virtual machines.
- Monitor server health, event logs, services, storage, capacity, performance, and availability.
- Perform hardware maintenance, operating-system updates, firmware upgrades, security patches, application updates, and manual hot fixes.
- Administer backup, archive, restoration, SAN/NAS, disaster recovery, test restoration, and continuity procedures.
- Support enterprise messaging, directory users, mobile clients, identity services, SIPR tokens, certificates, and credentials when authorized.
- Implement DISA STIG settings, configuration baselines, SCAP findings, vulnerability remediation, and RMF or eMASS support activities.
- Support cybersecurity incident response, log review, account investigation, system isolation, and technical remediation.
- Implement only approved changes through Configuration Control Board processes and maintain inventories, diagrams, build records, account records, and procedures.
- Provide Tier II and Tier III support and coordinate with Network, Cybersecurity, Desktop, SharePoint, and application owners.
- Support planned maintenance, Authorized Service Interruptions, emergency outages, after-hours requirements, and on-call rotations.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.
- Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements: US Citizenship is required.
- Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible systems administration experience.
- Candidates must meet the applicable DoD 8140 qualification requirements for the assigned work role. DoD 8140 Work Role(s): 451/ Systems Administrator, Proficiency Level: Intermediate; and may qualify through education, military training, certifications, or a combination thereof.
- Qualifying credentials include a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science or completion of relevant military communications or network training.
- Qualifying certifications may include Security+, Cloud+, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, or other DoD 8140-approved certifications. Higher proficiency-level or equivalent DoD 8140-approved certifications applicable to the assigned work role may also be accepted.
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with virtualization, backup and recovery, enterprise storage, patch management, monitoring, DNS, DHCP, file, print, and directory services.
- Experience troubleshooting server hardware, operating systems, authentication, applications, and enterprise service disruptions.
- Experience maintaining detailed technical, restoration, and continuity documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and customer-service skills.
- Ability to relocate to Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Desired Qualification
- Current Microsoft, VMware, or equivalent server-platform certification; VCP or Windows Server Hybrid Administrator preferred.
- Experience supporting classified DoD, Army, CENTCOM, USARCENT, NETCOM, or DISA systems.
- Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, SQL Server, enterprise storage, MECM, WSUS, PowerShell, and backup products.
- Experience implementing DISA STIGs, SCAP findings, vulnerability remediation, and RMF controls.
- Prior overseas, contingency, military, or mission-command support experience.
