تعلن شركة AtkinsRéalis، إحدى المؤسسات الهندسية والخدمات النووية العالمية، عن توفر فرصة وظيفية شاغرة في مكتبها بالرياض، المملكة العربية السعودية، لوظيفة رئيس تقني - عربات السكك الحديدية والمعدات الصفراء (على المسار) (Technical Head - Rolling Stock and Yellow Plant). سيتولى المرشح القيادة الاستراتيجية والتقنية عبر أعمال الشركة في الشرق الأوسط، مع التركيز على تقديم استشارات عالية الجودة في مجال عربات السكك الحديدية والمعدات الصفراء وإدارة الأصول التشغيلية.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • القيادة الفنية والاستراتيجية: العمل كمرجع تقني موثوق وخبير متخصص، وتقديم التوجيه الاستراتيجي للعملاء والفرق الداخلية.
  • قيادة تطوير حلول عربات السكك الحديدية والمعدات الصفراء وضمان التسليم التقني بأعلى المعايير.
  • الإشراف على جميع عناصر دورة حياة عربات السكك الحديدية والمعدات الصفراء ضمن هذا المجال.
  • تقديم خبرة ورؤية قيّمة في مجالات مثل استراتيجيات التعاقد والنشر التقني، التصميم، التصنيع، الاختبار والتشغيل، والجاهزية التشغيلية.
  • تحديد وحل التحديات والقيود التقنية بشكل استباقي.
  • تسليم المشاريع وإدارة العمليات والأصول: قيادة والإشراف على تسليم مشاريع السكك الحديدية الكبرى ومتعددة التخصصات.
  • ضمان التميز في التسليم عبر النطاق والجدول الزمني والتكلفة والجودة.
  • إدارة واجهات أنظمة السكك الحديدية الحرجة، مثل واجهات السكك والعجلات وطاقة الجر.
  • ضمان الامتثال لمتطلبات الاعتماد والموافقات والتراخيص.
  • قيادة والإشراف على تسليم مهام العمليات (بما في ذلك الدخول في الخدمة والجاهزية التشغيلية) وإدارة الأصول.
  • تطوير الأعمال: قيادة العروض والمناقصات وأنشطة المشتريات مع تقديم القيادة التقنية والتجارية.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة جامعية في الهندسة أو تخصص ذي صلة.
  • خبرة واسعة (15+ سنة) في أنظمة عربات السكك الحديدية والمعدات الصفراء عبر السكك الحديدية عالية السرعة والتقليدية والشحن ومترو الأنفاق.
  • خبرة قوية في هندسة أنظمة عربات السكك الحديدية والتكامل والأداء التشغيلي للسكك الحديدية.
  • قيادة مثبتة لمشاريع السكك الحديدية المعقدة ومتعددة التخصصات.
  • سجل حافل في إدارة كبار أصحاب المصلحة والعملاء.
  • خبرة في عمليات الاعتماد والموافقات والتراخيص.
  • خبرة في إدارة موردي المعدات.
  • خبرة في تصميم وتنفيذ واختبار وتشغيل أنظمة الطاقة، بما في ذلك الإدارة التشغيلية وإدارة الأصول لهذه الأنظمة.
  • قدرة مثبتة على قيادة العروض التقنية والمهام الاستشارية.

Overview

We are seeking a Technical Head - Rolling Stock and Yellow Plant (On Track) that shall provide strategic and technical leadership across our Middle East business, with our clients and on railway programs.

This role focuses on delivering high-quality consultancy services across rolling stock and yellow plant and operational asset management technical leadership, while driving innovation, technical excellence, and business growth.

As a senior leader, you will play a key role in shaping solutions, leading major bids within our governance framework, managing client relationships, and developing high-performing engineering teams.

Your role

Technical & Strategic Leadership

  • Act as a trusted technical authority and SME, providing strategic guidance to clients and internal teams.
  • Lead development of rolling stock and yellow plant solutions ensuring best-in-class technical delivery
  • Provide oversight on all elements of rolling stock and yellow plant lifecycle elements that reside in this domain.
  • Provide valuable experience and insight into other areas such as, but not exclusively, contracting and technical deployment strategies, design, manufacturing. testing and commissioning and operational readiness.
  • Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges and constraints.

Project Delivery and Operations and Asset Management

  • Lead and oversee delivery of major and multidisciplinary rail projects.
  • Ensure delivery excellence across scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
  • Manage critical railway system interfaces. For example rail and wheel interfaces and traction power.
  • Ensure compliance with assurance, approvals, and certification requirements.
  • Lead and oversee delivery of operations (including entry into service and operational readiness) and asset management assignments.

Business Development

  • Lead bids, tenders, and procurement activities, providing both technical and commercial leadership.
  • Develop feasibility studies and strategic advisory inputs to support client and suppliers decision-making.
  • Identify growth opportunities and strengthen AtkinsRéalis' market position.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

Innovation & Systems Integration

  • Drive development and optimisation of railway operational concepts and system interfaces.
  • Promote adoption of digital and advanced technologies.
  • Support innovation in areas such as smart mobility, industrialized manufacturing, data-driven systems, and automation.

People, Competency & Capability Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams and technical specialists.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Support knowledge sharing and development of technical best practices.
  • Contribute to strategic capability growth within the Rolling Stock and Yellow Plant discipline.

About You

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Degree-qualified in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience (15+ years) in rolling stock and yellow plan systems across high-speed, conventional, freight and metro railways.
  • Strong expertise in rolling stock system architecture, integration, and railway operational performance.
  • Demonstrated leadership of complex, multidisciplinary rail projects.
  • Strong track record in senior stakeholder and client management.
  • Experience across assurance, approvals, and certification processes.
  • Experience in the management of equipment suppliers.
  • Experience in the design, implementation, testing and commissioning of power systems, including the operational and asset management of such systems.
  • Proven ability to lead technical bids and consultancy assignments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-value assignments simultaneously.
  • Chartered Engineer.
  • Membership of a relevant professional institution.
  • Experience working across international rail projects and markets.
  • Experience of client and contractor organisations.

Desirable Experience & Skills

  • Knowledge of depot management and delivery, operations and maintenance requirements.
  • Additional language skills.
