تسعى شركة WSP in the Middle East إلى تعيين مهندس مرور أول (Senior Traffic Engineer) للانضمام إلى فريق الإشراف على الإنشاءات في جدة، المملكة العربية السعودية. سيكون المرشح الناجح مسؤولاً عن الإشراف على أنشطة هندسة المرور وإدارة المرور عبر مشاريع البنية التحتية الكبرى، مع ضمان الامتثال لمواصفات المشروع واللوائح المحلية ومعايير السلامة ومتطلبات الاستشاريين. تتطلب الوظيفة خبرة واسعة في الإشراف الميداني على تطويرات البنية التحتية المعقدة.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • الإشراف على أنشطة هندسة المرور وإدارة المرور خلال مراحل الإنشاء.
  • مراجعة وتقييم خطط إدارة المرور (TMPs) والتحويلات المرورية والتخطيطات المؤقتة للطرق وإجراءات التحكم في حركة المرور في مناطق العمل.
  • التنسيق مع المقاولين والعملاء والجهات المحلية وأصحاب المصلحة لضمان سير العمليات المرورية بسلاسة طوال تنفيذ المشروع.
  • إجراء التفتيش الميداني للتحقق من الامتثال للتصاميم المعتمدة ومتطلبات السلامة المرورية ومنهجيات الإنشاء.
  • مراجعة البرامج الزمنية للمقاولين وبيانات الطرق ومخططات التفاصيل وتقييمات الأثر المروري.
  • رصد التقارير المتعلقة بالمخاطر المرورية والحوادث وإجراءات التخفيف.
  • ضمان الالتزام بالجداول الزمنية للمشروع ومعايير الجودة ومتطلبات الصحة والسلامة.
  • دعم مهندس المقيم وفريق إدارة المشروع في حل التحديات الهندسية والتشغيلية المتعلقة بالمرور.
  • إعداد التقارير الفنية وسجلات التفتيش وتحديثات التقدم.
  • التواصل مع الجهات البلدية وهيئات النقل بشأن التصاريح والموافقات ومتطلبات إدارة المرور.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية أو هندسة النقل أو تخصص ذي صلة.
  • خبرة مهنية لا تقل عن 12-15 عامًا في هندسة المرور ومشاريع البنية التحتية للنقل.
  • خبرة مثبتة في الإشراف على الإنشاءات وبيئات الاستشارات الهندسية.
  • خبرة قوية في الإشراف الميداني على مشاريع البنية التحتية الكبرى للنقل تشمل: الطرق، الطرق السريعة، الجسور، الأنفاق، ممرات المرافق والبنية التحتية.
  • خبرة مثبتة في مراجعة خطط إدارة المرور وخطط التحكم المؤقتة في حركة المرور وترتيبات التحويلات المرورية.
  • الإلمام بالمعايير السعودية والممارسات الدولية في هندسة المرور (يفضل).
  • عضوية هيئة هندسية مهنية معترف بها (ميزة إضافية).

المهارات المطلوبة

  • مهارات اتصال قوية باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية.
  • مهارات إدارة أصحاب المصلحة والتواصل مع الجهات المختلفة.
  • مهارات كتابة التقارير الفنية وإعداد الوثائق.
  • القدرة على العمل بفعالية ضمن فرق مشاريع متعددة التخصصات في بيئات إنشائية سريعة الوتيرة.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Traffic Engineer to join our Construction Supervision team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing traffic engineering and traffic management activities across major transportation infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local regulations, safety standards, and consultant requirements. The role requires extensive site supervision experience on complex transportation infrastructure developments.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and monitor traffic engineering and traffic management activities during construction phases.
  • Review and evaluate Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), traffic diversions, temporary road layouts, and work zone traffic control measures.
  • Coordinate with contractors, clients, local authorities, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth traffic operations throughout project execution.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with approved designs, traffic safety requirements, and construction methodologies.
  • Review contractor submittals, method statements, shop drawings, and traffic impact assessments.
  • Monitor and report traffic-related risks, incidents, and mitigation measures.
  • Ensure adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and health and safety requirements.
  • Support the Resident Engineer and Project Management team in resolving traffic engineering and operational challenges.
  • Prepare technical reports, inspection records, and progress updates.
  • Liaise with municipal and transportation authorities regarding permits, approvals, and traffic management requirements.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 12-15 years of professional experience in traffic engineering and transportation infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience in construction supervision and consultancy environments.
  • Strong site supervision experience on major transport infrastructure projects including:
    • Roads
    • Highways
    • Bridges
    • Tunnels
    • Utilities and infrastructure corridors
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing traffic management plans, temporary traffic control schemes, and traffic diversion arrangements.
  • Familiarity with Saudi Arabian standards and international traffic engineering practices is preferred.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and report writing skills.
  • Membership of a recognized professional engineering institution is advantageous.
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary project teams within fast-paced construction environments.
