المهام والمسؤوليات

  • إعداد وتقديم مشروبات القهوة المتخصصة بدقة وثبات، مع إتقان استخدام آلات الإسبريسو وتقنيات التخمير.
  • تقديم خدمة ودية ومهنية لجميع الضيوف، وتوقع احتياجاتهم وتجاوز توقعاتهم.
  • مساعدة الضيوف بتوصيات مبلّغة حول عناصر القائمة والمكونات وطرق التحضير بطريقة مفيدة ولطيفة.
  • إدارة جميع المعاملات النقدية ومعالجة المدفوعات من خلال أنظمة نقاط البيع (POS) والحفاظ على سجلات مالية دقيقة.
  • الحفاظ على محطة عمل ومنطقة كافيه نظيفة ومنظمة وصحية، مع الالتزام بمعايير سلامة الأغذية والنظافة.
  • أداء مهام الفتح والإغلاق، بما في ذلك تجهيز المعدات وفحص المخزون وتجهيز المنشأة.
  • التعاون مع أعضاء الفريق لدعم سير العمل بسلاسة خلال ساعات الذروة وخارجها.
  • جذب العملاء من خلال عروض منتجات جذابة وتوصيات مبلّغة.
  • التكيف بمرونة مع الأولويات المتغيرة وتنفيذ مهام إضافية حسب الحاجة لتلبية الاحتياجات التشغيلية.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين في مجال الأطعمة والمشروبات و/أو التجزئة خلال العامين الماضيين.
  • خبرة مثبتة كباريستا مع مهارة واضحة في إعداد القهوة المتخصصة.
  • إتقان استخدام آلات الإسبريسو والمطاحن ومعدات الكافيه الأخرى.
  • مهارات قوية في التعامل مع النقد وخبرة في أنظمة نقاط البيع (POS).
  • مهارات ممتازة في التواصل والتعامل مع الآخرين مع توجه يركز على العملاء.
  • القدرة على العمل بكفاءة في بيئة سريعة الخطى مع الحفاظ على الاهتمام بالتفاصيل.
  • قدرة بدنية على الوقوف لفترات طويلة وأداء مهام متكررة.
  • معرفة معايير سلامة الأغذية والنظافة.
  • المرونة للعمل في مواعيد متغيرة، بما في ذلك عطلات نهاية الأسبوع والعطلات الرسمية.

المهارات المطلوبة

  • شهادة في خدمة المشروبات (Pro Serve أو ما يعادلها).
  • شهادة في القهوة المتخصصة أو تدريب رسمي كباريستا.
  • خبرة في بيئة ضيافة فاخرة أو كافيه راقي.
  • إجادة لغات متعددة، خاصة اللغة العربية.
  • خبرة في إدارة المخزون وتدوير البضاعة.

Company Description

Raffles & Fairmont Red Sea, positioned in the Kingdom’s groundbreaking Red Sea Project, will provide visitors access to a nature-focused resort. With 361 rooms, eleven distinct dining concepts, including overwater restaurants with views of the Red Sea and the mangroves, and a spa. The resort will be situated next to an 18 hole championship golf course, reflecting Fairmont’s association as a world class golf destination. It will set new standards in sustainable development, positioned on 200km of untouched coastline, an archipelago of more than 90 unspoiled islands, dormant volcanoes, rich marine habitat, and ancient archaeological sites.

Job Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Barista to join our dynamic team in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you'll be the heart of our café operation, delivering exceptional customer service while crafting high-quality specialty beverages. You'll work in a collaborative environment where your passion for coffee excellence and genuine care for our guests directly contribute to creating memorable experiences. You'll embrace our commitment to quality, professionalism, and inclusive hospitality in every interaction.

Reporting to the Outlet Supervisor / Outlet Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks and beverages with precision and consistency, demonstrating mastery of espresso machines and brewing techniques
  • Deliver warm, engaging, and professional service to all guests, ensuring their needs are anticipated and exceeded
  • Assist guests with informed recommendations regarding menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods in a helpful and approachable manner
  • Manage all cash transactions, process payments through point-of-sale systems, and maintain accurate financial records
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic work station and café environment, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Perform opening and closing duties, including equipment setup, inventory checks, and facility preparation
  • Collaborate with team members to support smooth operations during peak and off-peak hours
  • Attract and engage customers through attractive product displays and knowledgeable recommendations
  • Adapt flexibly to changing priorities and support additional duties as assigned to meet operational needs

Qualifications

**Required Qualifications:**

  • Minimum 2 years of Food & Beverage and/or retail experience within the last 2 years
  • Proven barista experience with demonstrated expertise in specialty coffee preparation
  • Proficiency with espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment
  • Strong cash handling skills and experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • **Preferred Qualifications:**
  • Beverage service certification (Pro Serve or equivalent)
  • Specialty coffee certification or formal barista training
  • Experience in a luxury hospitality or upscale café environment
  • Multilingual abilities, particularly Arabic language skills

  • Knowledge of latte art and advanced coffee presentation techniques
