المهام والمسؤوليات

  • إدارة العمليات اليومية للبناء لضمان الكفاءة والأداء وفقاً لمواصفات المشروع والميزانية.
  • مساعدة وقيادة فريق من عمال ومشرفي اللحام لضمان تنفيذ جميع أنشطة اللحام وفقاً لمواصفات المشروع والمعايير الصناعية.
  • قيادة عمليات PQR و WQT للمشروع من خلال التواصل مع جميع الأطراف المعنية.
  • فهم عمليات اللحام مثل SMAW و GTAW و SAW و FCAW، وضمان تنفيذ متطلبات التسخين المسبق واللاحق بناءً على سمك المادة ودرجتها ومتطلباتها.
  • إجراء عمليات التفتيش وحل ومراقبة أعمال اللحام والتصحيح.
  • ضمان الحفاظ على مخزون المواد الاستهلاكية عند المستوى المطلوب.
  • دراسة الرسومات الإنشائية وتخطيط تسلسل اللحام بالتنسيق مع خطة مؤشرات الأداء الرئيسية.
  • عقد اجتماعات تنسيق الجدول الأسبوعية مع جميع رؤساء عمال المقاولين من الباطن لتحديد متطلبات إنجاز العمل والقضايا الأخرى بما في ذلك متطلبات القوى العاملة والتنسيق والفحص وتسلسل العمل. توزيع جداول التوقعات لثلاثة أسابيع وإبلاغ متطلبات الجدول لجميع المقاولين من الباطن.
  • الحفاظ على مستوى عالٍ من التحكم في تكلفة جميع المواد الاستهلاكية والمعدات المستخدمة أثناء أعمال البناء.
  • تنفيذ ومراقبة ودفع جدول المشروع، وإخطار فريق الإدارة فوراً بمشاكل الجدول والأداء، والاستباقية في توقع المشكلات المحتملة التي قد تؤثر على أداء المشروع.
  • امتلاك معرفة وفهم قويين للوائح HSEQ في حوض بناء السفن ومتطلبات شهادة بناء منصة الحفر، وضمان نقل ذلك إلى فريق المشروع بانتظام.
  • تحديد أولويات العمل والتركيز على المسار الحرج وتحليل مشاكل العمل كتابةً مع عقلية حل المشكلات والإشراف الدقيق واتخاذ القرارات مع شخصية مقنعة قوية والاستعداد الكامل بخطة بديلة لأي مشكلات غير متوقعة.
  • المسؤولية الكاملة عن تسليم جميع سجلات اختبار التفتيش (ITR) ضمن الاختصاص ذي الصلة عن طريق التفويض الفعال لرئيس العمال ومساعديه، مع التركيز العالي على التفاعل والتنسيق مع جميع المشرفين الآخرين لإزالة جميع العوائق لتحقيق التواريخ المستهدفة.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • مؤهل فني هندسي (دبلوم أو ما يعادله).
  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة (يفضل).
  • شهادات مهنية: شهادات 3G و 4G و 6G (يفضل).
  • لحملة البكالوريوس: خبرة لا تقل عن 9-15 سنة في أحواض بناء السفن / مصانع التصنيع والمشاركة في أنشطة البناء البحري.
  • لحملة الدبلوم: خبرة لا تقل عن 15 سنة في أحواض بناء السفن / مصانع التصنيع والمشاركة في أنشطة البناء البحري.
  • خبرة في التعامل مع المنتجات البحرية ذات القيمة العالية والتعقيد التقني.
  • مهارات تواصل ممتازة (شفهية وكتابية) في اللغة الإنجليزية.

Description

JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE

Overall responsible for welding of Jackets and Production Decks (PDM’s) Apart from being well versed in the various welding processes, to provide on-site coordination for all phases of work, including planning of

consumables, welding subcontractors’ allocation, and detailed scheduling as per project requirements. To ensure projects are completed safely, on time.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the construction day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and performance in accordance to project specification and budget.
  • To assist and lead a team of welding workers and supervisors in ensuring all welding activities are performed in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Lead PQR and WQT for the project by communication with all related stakeholders.
  • Understanding of welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW, SAW, FCAW. To ensure pre and post heating requirements are carried


out based on material thickness, grade, and requirements.

  • Carry out inspections as well as resolving and monitoring welding and rectification works.
  • To ensure inventory of consumables is always maintained at required level.
  • Study construction drawings and plan welding sequence in conjunction with KPI plan.
  • Have weekly schedule coordination meetings with all subcontractor foremen to outline requirements of work completion, and other issues as may be required including but not limited to manpower requirements,


interference coordination, inspections, and sequence of work. Distribute three-week look ahead schedules and communicate schedule requirements with all subcontractors.

  • Maintain a high-level control around cost of all construction consumables and equipment utilised during the construction works.
  • Implement, monitor, and drive the project schedule. Promptly notify management team of schedule and performance issues, be proactive in anticipating potential problems that may impact the project performance.
  • Should possess strong knowledge and understanding of shipyard HSEQ regulations and rig building job certification requirements and ensure the same is communicated to the project team on a regular basis.
  • Identify the work priorities, focus on the critical path, analyze the work problems in writing with own problem- solving mentality, accurate supervision, decision-maker with a strong convincing personality, full


readiness with 'Plan B' for any unexpected issues.

  • Fully responsible for delivery of all Inspection Test Records (ITR’s) under the relevant discipline by effectively delegating to the foreman and chargehands. This must be approached with a high focus on interfacing


and coordination with all other discipline supervision to remove all blocks from achieving target dates.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education

  • Technical Engineering Qualification. (Diploma or equivalent)
  • Bachelor Engineering Degree (preferred).


Professional Qualifications (Certifications & Accreditations)

  • 3G, 4G, and 6G certified (preferred).


Experience

  • For bachelor’s holders at least 9-15, for diploma holders at least 15+ years of experience in ship / fabrication yards and involved in offshore construction activities.
  • Experienced in handling offshore related products which are of high value and with technical complexities. Languages
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written) in the English Language.
