Instrument Maintenance Controller
Job Purpose
Monitor and supervise preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities for instrumentation and measurement equipment, ensuring equipment reliability, accuracy, and operational readiness in accordance with approved maintenance plans and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities for instrumentation equipment.
- Perform and monitor maintenance of weighing systems, gas analyzers, and gas and oil consumption measurement devices.
- Calibrate measuring instruments and ensure the accuracy and reliability of readings.
- Review maintenance work requests and ensure the availability of required spare parts, tools, and materials.
- Monitor the use of spare parts and ensure proper handling of replaced and surplus parts.
- Conduct periodic inspections to ensure equipment safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness.
- Document maintenance activities and prepare technical reports and recommendations.
- Participate in identifying annual spare parts requirements.
- Read and interpret relevant engineering drawings and technical diagrams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of relevant experience in instrumentation maintenance or a related field.
- Good knowledge of instrument maintenance, calibration, measurement, and analytical equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Good computer skills and familiarity with relevant maintenance applications.
