تسعى WSP in the Middle East إلى تعيين مهندس مساحة (Survey Engineer) للمساهمة في تسليم مشاريع البنية التحتية الكبرى للنقل والطرق والمرافق في جدة، المملكة العربية السعودية.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • مراجعة والتحقق من منهجيات المسح الخاصة بالمقاول، ونقاط التحكم، والمستويات الثابتة، وأنشطة التوقيع.
  • مراقبة وفحص أعمال المسح للتأكد من مطابقتها للرسومات والمواصفات ومتطلبات المشروع المعتمدة.
  • التحقق من المحاذاة الأفقية والرأسية، والمناسيب، والإحداثيات، والأبعاد لأعمال البنية التحتية.
  • إنشاء وصيانة شبكات التحكم المساحي والنقاط المرجعية عبر مواقع المشروع.
  • مراجعة والتحقق من تقارير المسح والحسابات والسجلات والرسومات كما تم التنفيذ (As-built).
  • التنسيق مع المهندسين المقيمين والمفتشين وفرق الإشراف متعددة التخصصات لحل مشكلات المسح والبناء.
  • التحقق من كميات وقياسات الأعمال المنجزة لأغراض تقارير التقدم والاعتماد.
  • مراقبة امتثال المقاول لإجراءات المسح المعتمدة ومعايير الجودة.
  • إجراء فحوصات ميدانية للتحقق من دقة ممرات المرافق ومحاذاة الطرق وشبكات الصرف والأعمال المرتبطة بها.
  • دعم تقارير المشروع وتقديم توصيات فنية تتعلق بدقة المسح والبناء.
  • ضمان الامتثال لمتطلبات الصحة والسلامة والبيئة أثناء عمليات المسح.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في هندسة المساحة أو هندسة الجيوماتكس أو الهندسة المدنية أو تخصص ذي صلة.
  • خبرة مهنية لا تقل عن 10 سنوات في المجال ذي الصلة.
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في مشاريع النقل والطرق والطرق السريعة وبنية المرافق التحتية والصرف والمشاريع المدنية.
  • خبرة إلزامية داخل المملكة العربية السعودية.
  • خبرة مثبتة في العمل لدى شركات استشارات هندسية في مهام الإشراف على الإنشاءات / الإشراف الموقعي.
  • خلفية قوية في الإشراف والتحقق من أنشطة المسح الخاصة بالمقاولين في مشاريع البنية التحتية.
  • خبرة في مشاريع البنية التحتية للمرافق بما في ذلك المياه والصرف الصحي ومياه الأمطار والصرف وشبكات التركيبات المرتبطة بها.
  • إجادة استخدام أجهزة Total Station وأنظمة GPS/GNSS والمستويات الرقمية وبرامج معالجة بيانات المسح.
  • فهم قوي لإجراءات الإشراف على الإنشاءات ومتطلبات ضمان الجودة وتقديم مشاريع البنية التحتية.
  • القدرة على مراجعة الرسومات الهندسية والمواصفات والتخطيطات وحسابات المسح.
  • مهارات قوية في التواصل والتنسيق وإعداد التقارير.
  • إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية أمر أساسي؛ مهارات اللغة العربية تعتبر ميزة إضافية.

Job Description

WSP is seeking an experienced Survey Engineer to support the delivery of major transportation, road, and utility infrastructure projects in Jeddah. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing contractor surveying activities, verifying setting out works, reviewing survey records, and ensuring construction works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify contractor survey methodologies, control points, benchmarks, and setting out activities.
  • Monitor and inspect survey works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
  • Verify horizontal and vertical alignments, levels, coordinates, and dimensions for infrastructure works.
  • Establish and maintain survey control networks and reference points across project sites.
  • Review and validate survey reports, calculations, records, and as-built drawings.
  • Coordinate with Resident Engineers, inspectors, and multidisciplinary supervision teams to resolve surveying and construction issues.
  • Verify quantities and measurements of completed works for progress reporting and certification purposes.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with approved survey procedures and quality standards.
  • Conduct field inspections to verify the accuracy of utility corridors, road alignments, drainage networks, and associated infrastructure works.
  • Support project reporting and provide technical recommendations relating to surveying and construction accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements during survey operations.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Surveying Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience on transportation, roads, highways, utility infrastructure, drainage, and civil infrastructure projects.
  • Mandatory experience within Saudi Arabia (KSA).
  • Proven experience working for engineering consultancy firms in a construction supervision/site supervision capacity.
  • Strong background in supervising and verifying contractor survey activities on infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with utility infrastructure projects, including water, wastewater, stormwater, drainage, and associated network installations.
  • Proficiency in Total Station, GPS/GNSS systems, digital levels, and survey data processing software.
  • Strong understanding of construction supervision procedures, quality assurance requirements, and infrastructure project delivery.
  • Ability to review engineering drawings, specifications, layouts, and survey calculations.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
  • Fluency in English is essential; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
