في WSP في الشرق الأوسط، نبحث عن مهندس مقيم (Resident Engineer) للعمل في موقع مكة وجدة بالمملكة العربية السعودية. ستعمل كممثل استشاري رئيسي في الموقع للإشراف على أنشطة البناء وضمان تسليم الأعمال وفقاً للالتزامات التعاقدية ومعايير الجودة والمواصفات المعتمدة والجداول الزمنية للمشروع. هذه الوظيفة مخصصة لذوي الخبرة الواسعة في الإشراف على مشاريع النقل والطرق والبنية التحتية في المملكة، وليست مناسبة للمرشحين ذوي الخبرة الغالبة في مشاريع المباني أو العمل لدى شركات المقاولات أو المكاتب الهندسية المركزية.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • قيادة وإدارة فريق الإشراف الميداني لمشاريع النقل والبنية التحتية.
  • العمل كجهة اتصال رئيسية بين العميل والمقاول وفريق الاستشاري في الموقع.
  • مراقبة أنشطة البناء وضمان الامتثال لمواصفات المشروع والرسومات والمعايير والمتطلبات التعاقدية.
  • الإشراف على عمليات ضمان الجودة ومراقبة الجودة طوال تنفيذ المشروع.
  • مراجعة وتقديم توصيات بشأن مستندات المقاول، بما في ذلك طرق العمل واعتماد المواد وبرامج العمل.
  • مراقبة تقدم المشروع وتحديد المخاطر المحتملة والتأخيرات والتحديات الإنشائية.
  • التنسيق مع فرق الهندسة متعددة التخصصات لحل المشكلات الفنية.
  • مراجعة واعتماد تقارير تقدم العمل وطلبات الدفع المقدمة من المقاول.
  • ضمان الامتثال لمتطلبات الصحة والسلامة والبيئة والجهات التنظيمية.
  • رئاسة اجتماعات الموقع وإعداد تقارير حالة المشروع للعميل وأصحاب المصلحة.
  • تقديم القيادة الفنية والتوجيه لموظفي الإشراف الميداني.
  • دعم التسليم الناجح لممرات النقل والطرق السريعة والطرق وشبكات المرافق والصرف الصحي وأعمال البنية التحتية المرتبطة.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية.
  • حد أدنى 15 عاماً من الخبرة بعد التخرج في مشاريع البنية التحتية.
  • حد أدنى 8 سنوات خبرة في منصب مهندس مقيم على مشاريع بنية تحتية رئيسية.
  • خبرة إلزامية داخل المملكة العربية السعودية.
  • خبرة مثبتة في العمل لدى مؤسسات استشارية هندسية في بيئة إشراف ميداني.
  • خبرة مثبتة في الإشراف على مشاريع النقل والطرق السريعة والطرق والمرافق والصرف الصحي والبنية التحتية المدنية.
  • فهم قوي لإجراءات الإشراف على البناء وإدارة العقود وأنظمة إدارة الجودة.
  • الإلمام بعقود FIDIC وأطر تسليم البنية التحتية.
  • مهارات قيادة قوية وإدارة أصحاب المصلحة والتواصل وإعداد التقارير.
  • إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية؛ إجادة اللغة العربية ميزة إضافية.

Job Description

As Resident Engineer, you will act as the Consultant's lead representative on site, overseeing construction activities and ensuring that all works are delivered in accordance with contractual obligations, quality standards, approved specifications, and project schedules.

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience supervising transportation, roadway, and utility infrastructure projects within Saudi Arabia and will have worked for engineering consultancy organizations in site supervision capacities. This position is not suitable for candidates whose experience is predominantly in building projects, contractor organizations, design office functions, or head office-based engineering roles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the site supervision team for transportation and infrastructure projects.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the Client, Contractor, and Consultant team on site.
  • Monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, standards, and contractual requirements.
  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control processes throughout project execution.
  • Review and provide recommendations on contractor submissions, including method statements, material approvals, and work programmes.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks, delays, and construction challenges.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Review, validate, and certify contractor progress reports and payment applications.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Chair site meetings and prepare project status reports for clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to site supervision personnel.
  • Support the successful delivery of transportation corridors, roads, highways, utility networks, drainage, and associated infrastructure works.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum 15 years of post-graduate experience in infrastructure projects.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a Resident Engineer capacity on major infrastructure projects.
  • Mandatory experience within Saudi Arabia (KSA).
  • Proven experience with engineering consultancy organizations in a site supervision environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supervising transportation, highways, roads, utilities, drainage, and associated civil infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction supervision procedures, contract administration, and quality management systems.
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and infrastructure delivery frameworks.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
