Gym / Recreation Attendant

Job Summary:

The Gym / Recreation Attendant is responsible for ensuring the smooth daily operation, cleanliness, safety, and overall guest experience across Azure’s gym and recreational facilities. The role involves assisting residents, monitoring facility usage, maintaining equipment and recreational areas, and ensuring that all facilities are ready for safe and enjoyable use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist residents using the gym and recreational facilities.
• Ensure all gym equipment and recreational areas are clean, organized, and ready for use.
• Conduct regular checks of gym equipment and report any defects, damages, or maintenance requirements.
• Monitor the proper and safe use of fitness and recreational facilities.
• Ensure residents follow facility rules, safety guidelines, and operating procedures.
• Support residents with basic information regarding gym equipment and facility usage.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment inspections, incidents, and maintenance requests.
• Support the setup and preparation of recreational activities and community events when required.
• Monitor facility capacity and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
• Respond promptly to residents’ requests and escalate any operational or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Support emergency procedures and report incidents in accordance with Azure policies.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service that reflects Azure’s hospitality and lifestyle experience.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a gym, recreation facility, hotel, residential compound, hospitality, or customer service environment is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic knowledge of gym and recreational equipment.
• Customer-focused with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
• Basic understanding of health, safety, and facility procedures.
