KBR تبحث عن مساعد رئيس إطفاء - الوقاية (Assistant Fire Chief - Prevention) للعمل في قاعدة كامب ليمونير البحرية في جيبوتي، أفريقيا، وذلك لدعم العمليات التشغيلية للقوات الأمريكية.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • التخطيط والتطوير والمراجعة والتنفيذ والتقييم لسياسات القسم، وتلقي التوجيهات واللوائح الجديدة من رئيس الإطفاء ونشر المعلومات للمرؤوسين.
  • إعداد وجدولة مهام مفتشي الإطفاء ومهام التفتيش، ومساعدة رئيس الإطفاء في وضع وتنفيذ خطة استراتيجية طويلة الأجل للوقاية من الحرائق.
  • تخطيط وإدارة والإشراف على برامج التوعية والتثقيف في مجال الوقاية من الحرائق.
  • مراجعة مخططات البناء والتعديلات، والتشاور مع المهندسين، وتقديم المساعدة الفنية والوظيفية بشأن معايير الوقاية من الحرائق وتصميم المباني.
  • تحديد ومراجعة حالة نواقص الحماية من الحرائق في القاعدة، والتنسيق مع رئيس الإطفاء والجهات الأخرى لاتخاذ الإجراءات التصحيحية اللازمة.
  • إجراء تدريب دوري لتعزيز الكفاءة في كل مجال وظيفي للوقاية من الحرائق.
  • تقييم قدرات برامج الوقاية من الحرائق، والتوصية بالتغييرات عند الحاجة، وإدارة مفتشي الإطفاء لضمان تحقيق أهداف البرنامج.
  • أي مهام أخرى تُكلف بها.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • شهادة الثانوية العامة أو ما يعادلها.
  • أن يكون المتقدم مواطناً أمريكياً (U.S. Citizen).
  • الحصول على تصريح أمني سري (Secret Security Clearance) ساري المفعول، أو القدرة على الحصول عليه والمحافظة عليه.
  • إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية بطلاقة.
  • امتلاك جواز سفر (دفتر جواز وليس بطاقة جواز) مع صلاحية متبقية لا تقل عن 15 شهراً، وما لا يقل عن 6 صفحات تأشيرة/ختم فارغة.
  • امتلاك رخصة قيادة مع صلاحية متبقية لا تقل عن 6 أشهر.
  • القابلية للانتشار خارج القارة الأمريكية (OCONUS) واستيفاء جميع المتطلبات الطبية والبدنية والأمنية للعمل في قاعدة كامب ليمونير، جيبوتي.
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 3 سنوات كمساعد رئيس إطفاء - الوقاية في برنامج وقاية من الحرائق بحجم ونطاق مماثل لما هو مطلوب في عقد DJBOSS.
  • الحصول على شهادات من نظام شهادات الإطفاء والخدمات الطارئة التابع لوزارة الدفاع (DoD Fire & Emergency Services Fire Fighter Certification) في التخصصات التالية: مفتش إطفاء من المستوى الثالث (Fire Inspector III)، ضابط إطفاء من المستوى الثالث (Fire Officer III)، مدرب إطفاء من المستوى الثاني (Fire Instructor II)، قائد حوادث المواد الخطرة (HAZMAT Incident Commander)، إطفائي مطار (Airport Fire Fighter).

Program Summary

KBR sustains the operational well-being of U.S. armed forces at Djibouti, Africa, Camp Lemonnier Naval Base. Our services encompass program management, contingency and expeditionary, asset management and recreation support, postal operations, safety services, logistics, and more. KBR ensures the base operates smoothly, allowing deployed personnel to focus on mission execution.

Assistant Fire Chief for Prevention

Under the general direction of the Fire Services Chief, supervises all functions of Fire Prevention. Plans a comprehensive program of on-the-job and proficiency training for fire prevention personnel. Direct firefighting operations during emergencies and training evaluations in the absence of an Assistant Chief of Operations. Will serve as the on-scene commander of a fire/crash scene until relieved by the Fire Chief if on duty as the Operations Chief.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Plans, develops, reviews, implements and evaluates department policy. Receives new guidance, regulations or procedures from the Fire Chief and disseminates information to subordinates.
  • Prepares and schedules assignments of both fire inspectors and fire inspection duties. Assist the Fire Chief in developing and implementing an overall company long-term strategic plan involving fire prevention.
  • Plans, administers, and supervises fire prevention education programs.
  • Review construction and medication plans, confers with engineers, and provides technical/functional assistance on fire prevention and building design criteria.
  • Identifies and reviews the status of base fire deficiencies and coordinates with the Fire Chief and other agencies for necessary corrective actions.
  • Conducts recurring proficiency training in each functional area of fire prevention.
  • Assesses capabilities of fire prevention programs, recommends changes when necessary, and manages fire inspectors to ensure applicability of program objectives.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance or be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 15 months of remaining validity AND with at least 6 blank visa/stamp pages remaining.
  • Must possess driver's license with at least 6 months of remaining validity
  • Must be deployable OCONUS and meet all medical, physical, and security requirements for assignment to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as an Assistant Fire Chief for Prevention in a fire Prevention program of size and scope similar to that required on DJBOSS.
  • Must be certified by the DoD Fire & Emergency Services Fire Fighter Certification with the following:
