WSP في الشرق الأوسط تبحث عن Senior Quantity Surveyor للعمل في الرياض، للإشراف على أنشطة مسح الكميات في مشروع طرق وجسور رئيسي.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • قيادة وإدارة وظيفة مسح الكميات لمشاريع بنية تحتية متعددة، مع ضمان الدقة والكفاءة والالتزام بمتطلبات المشروع والميزانيات.
  • تقديم المشورة والدعم لفرق المشروع في جميع مسائل مسح الكميات، بما في ذلك تقدير التكاليف ومراقبتها والمشتريات وإدارة العقود.
  • إجراء تحليلات تفصيلية للتكاليف وتقييم العروض ودراسات القيمة الهندسية لتحسين تكاليف المشروع وضمان قيمة مقابل المال.
  • التعاون الوثيق مع مديري المشاريع والمهندسين وأصحاب المصلحة لوضع استراتيجيات وحلول شاملة لمسح الكميات تتناسب مع أهداف المشروع.

  • توجيه وتدريب مساحي الكميات المبتدئين، وتعزيز تبادل المعرفة والتطوير المهني داخل الفريق.
  • تمثيل الشركة في اجتماعات العملاء وورش العمل والعروض التقديمية، مع إظهار الخبرة الفنية وتعزيز العلاقات الإيجابية مع أصحاب المصلحة الرئيسيين.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في مسح الكميات أو إدارة التشييد أو مجال ذي صلة (يفضل درجة الماجستير).
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 15 عامًا في مسح الكميات، مع سجل حافل في إدارة مشاريع البنية التحتية واسعة النطاق في صناعة التشييد.
  • خبرة واسعة في مشاريع الطرق والجسور والأنفاق والمترو والبنية التحتية ذات الصلة، ويفضل في بيئة استشارية.
  • الاعتماد المهني أو العضوية في الهيئات الصناعية ذات الصلة (مثل RICS أو CIOB) أمر مرغوب فيه للغاية.
  • إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية مطلوبة، ومهارات اللغة العربية تعتبر ميزة إضافية.

المهارات المطلوبة

  • إتقان قوي لبرامج وأدوات مسح الكميات مثل CostX أو Candy أو منصات مماثلة.
  • معرفة متعمقة بعقود التشييد وطرق المشتريات والمعايير الصناعية، خاصة في السياق السعودي.
  • مهارات تحليلية واتصالية وتفاوضية ممتازة، مع القدرة على التفاعل بفعالية مع فرق متعددة التخصصات وأصحاب المصلحة الكبار.
  • قدرات قيادية مثبتة، بما في ذلك القدرة على توجيه وتطوير الموظفين المبتدئين.

Job Description

WSP is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing quantity surveying activities for a major roads & highways construction project. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in quantity surveying and construction management to contribute to impactful infrastructure projects in Riyadh.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the quantity surveying function for multiple infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to project requirements and budgets.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to project teams on all quantity surveying matters, including cost estimation, cost control, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Conduct detailed cost analysis, tender evaluations, and value engineering exercises to optimize project costs and ensure value for money.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop comprehensive quantity surveying strategies and solutions tailored to project objectives.
  • Review and negotiate contracts, variations, and claims, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and contractual obligations.
  • Oversee the preparation of bills of quantities, cost reports, and financial forecasts, providing accurate and timely updates to project stakeholders.
  • Monitor project progress and financial performance, identifying risks, deviations, and opportunities for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Mentor and train junior quantity surveyors, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development within the team.
  • Represent the company in client meetings, workshops, and presentations, demonstrating technical expertise and fostering positive relationships with key stakeholders.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects in the construction industry.
  • Extensive experience in road, bridge, highway, tunnel, rail, metro, and related infrastructure projects, ideally within a consulting environment.
  • Strong proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools, such as CostX, Candy, or similar platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and industry standards, particularly in the Saudi Arabian context.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to mentor and develop junior staff members.
  • Professional accreditation or membership with relevant industry bodies (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in English is required, Arabic language skills would be advantageous.
