To improve our current development environment and move it towards Infrastructure as code by implementing CI/CD pipeline and transforming our development team to adopt to DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Design and Develop the CI/CD pipeline for the organization.
• Should be able to adapt and work in an agile environment with changing requirements.
• Should be able to design and develop scripts for Infrastructure as Code (IaS).
• Should be able to participate in team design discussions.
• Should be able to work towards microservices connectivity design and development.
• Must work with a team of developers and testers and adhere to coding standards.
• Get feedback from user community and contribute constantly towards enhancement of user experience.
• Write and review functional requirement documents, design documents and system requirement specification documents.
• Must be ready to develop good quality mockup and prototypes.
• Help to enhance the automation process from design to delivery.
• Work on cloud environments where the prime objective is to run managed services and move applications to adopt to IaS.
• Must be a constant learner and be able to keep up with emerging trends and technology changes.
• Oversee, monitor and manage Kubernetes clusters, ensuring optimal performance and resource usage.
• Manage ELK stack, MongoDB, Redis, RDBMS and any other database.
• Implement measures to reduce the cost of cloud infrastructure without compromising on performance or reliability.
• Monitor all cloud resources and applications to ensure their performance, availability, and security.
• Manage incidents effectively, from logging to resolution, and conduct post-incident reviews for continuous improvement.
• Ensure all systems and processes comply with security standards and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with other teams (like development and QA) and provide training on DevOps tools and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• have minimum 5+ years in cloud deployment and setting up CI/CD pipeline.
• Needed Skills: Docker containers, Kubernetes Orchestration, an expert in DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git and Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc. and expert in working on managed services like Google Cloud Functions, Google Cloud Run, Google Cloud SQL etc. (AWS equivalent is acceptable).
• be well versed with Terraform and Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
• to have: Experience dealing with microservices using Spring cloud.
• Highly skilled in code automation by setting CI/CD pipelines and working and managing applications on cloud.
