We are looking for an experienced Senior Cost & Inventory Control Accountant to join our healthcare organization in Abha, Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing independent and continuous control, analysis, and monitoring of inventory movements and locations across the hospital, including pharmaceuticals, medical and non-medical supplies, warehouses, departmental and clinic inventories, pharmacies, operational custody items, and other inventory locations.

• Monitor and analyze all inventory movements, including receipts, issues, transfers, returns, consumption, and adjustments.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of inventory balances across all hospital locations.
• Conduct and review physical inventory counts and analyze inventory variances, discrepancies, and consumption patterns.
• Monitor inventory movements across warehouses, pharmacies, departments, clinics, and operational locations.
• Identify unusual variances, discrepancies, losses, or control weaknesses and recommend corrective actions.
• Strengthen internal controls and segregation of duties related to inventory management.
• Provide accurate and reliable inventory and cost information to Finance Management and Executive Management.
• Work as a relatively independent control function between Finance, Warehouses, Pharmacies, Operational Departments, and IT/Systems Management.
• Verify the accuracy and completeness of inventory transactions recorded in the hospital's systems.
• Support cost analysis, inventory valuation, consumption analysis, and financial reporting.
• Ensure that inventory control activities comply with established policies, procedures, and internal control standards.
• Maintain independence from direct inventory custody, receiving, and issuing activities to preserve the segregation of duties principle.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in cost accounting, inventory control, or a similar role.
• Healthcare or hospital experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, cost accounting, reconciliation, variance analysis, and internal controls.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Experience with ERP/HIS systems and inventory management systems.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and integrity.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
