Job Summary

IT Engineer responsibilities are:

General

•            Provide technical support and network administration, network security, routing, error detection and correction.

•            Able to work effectively with all levels of management, staff and users.

•            Able to deal with and prioritize multiple tasks in a time-sensitive environment.

•            Consistently maintain a positive attitude and enjoy helping people.

•            Excellent communications, organizations, and committed to provide exceptional client services.

IT/Networking Specialist:

•            Maintenance of windows LAN’s including workstations, servers, print servers, hubs and cabling for the head office

•            Implement file system security and fault tolerance and created access rights for various levels of staff.

•            Configure a remote site connection and setup dynamic reports scheduler to ease operations.

•            Anticipate and resolve network problems such as installation, login & IP Address problems.

•            Administer 225+ user accounts, Configured and implemented windows workstations.

•            Implement Corporate Enterprise backup System.

Technical Support Specialist:

•            Team with corporate IS/IT support group to diagnose and correct issues.

•            Conduct software application training and provide end user service and support for stand alone computers, LAN/WAN settings, software and hardware setting.

•            Analyse, troubleshooting and solved hardware & software conflicts in a timely and accurate manner.

Storage

•            Manage inventory of all servers and PC (Desktop and Laptop) HP, IBM, SONY, DELL and TOSHIBA, and all Printers and all scanners.

Job Specifications

Required Educational Level:

Associate Degree in Computer Technology

Required Experience:

Over 7 Years of diversified IT experience including networking, administration and documentation and IT Policy

Professional Knowledge:

IT network / IT management /IT Technical Support

Skills & Abilities (Competencies):

Operating Systems, Office and Devices:

•            Microsoft windows9x/NT/2000/ME/XP/Vista/win7, Office XP/2000, 2003, 2007, MS project 2000, 2003, 2007 and MS Visio.

Well acquainted with PC Compatibles (installation, problem diagnostics and troubleshooting), HD’s, and CPUs, motherboards, expansion cards, printers and removable drives   Networking:

•            Maintaining Network Administration of Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, 2003 & 2008.  I am proficient in installation, configuring, troubleshooting and Maintenance of Cisco Routers, SonicWALL firewall DDN Lines, Windows 2000 , 2003 & 2008 Server, ISA proxy servers, and Exchange 2000 , 2003, 2008 Network security TVD (Total virus defense) and Office Scan 95 &  Kaspersky to protect virus free from server including Local area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN). Maintaining and supporting with Windows NT 2000 , 2003 & 2008 Server clients.

•            Maintaining and trouble shooting Lease lines over LAN & WAN.

•            Windows 2000, 2003 Server and Advanced Server, Exchange Server, ISA Server, Novell Netware, Novell GroupWise/ZENwork.

•            Troubleshooting networks and server problems, WINS/DNS/DHCP/HTTP/HTTPS/RPC configuration.

•            TCP/IP Ethernet Networking - DHCP and static addressing.

•            LAN/WAN, Routers, Switches, Internet connectivity and Fiber Optic

•            TCP/IP, FTP, TELNET, IPCONFIG, PING, SMTP, IPX/SPX, etc.
