We are seeking an experienced Senior Oracle Financial Consultant to support the implementation, enhancement, maintenance, and optimization of Oracle E-Business Suite Financial modules. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in Oracle EBS R12, a solid understanding of financial and accounting processes, and preferably experience supporting government entities or public-sector projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional consulting and support for Oracle EBS Financials, including requirements gathering, analysis, configuration, testing, and production support.
• Work closely with Finance and Accounting teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Oracle EBS solutions.
• Configure and support Oracle EBS modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and Purchasing.
• Analyze business processes and recommend improvements using Oracle EBS standard functionality and best practices.
• Prepare functional specifications for customizations, reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the successful development and delivery of Oracle EBS solutions.
• Conduct unit, integration, and system testing and support User Acceptance Testing.
• Investigate functional issues, identify root causes, and provide appropriate solutions.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities and resolve related system issues.
• Develop and maintain business requirements, functional specifications, test scenarios, user guides, and other functional documentation.
• Deliver user training and knowledge-transfer sessions to business users and support teams.
• Participate in Oracle EBS implementations, upgrades, patches, rollouts, and enhancement projects.
• Ensure solutions comply with applicable accounting standards, financial policies, internal controls, and organizational procedures.
• Coordinate with project managers, business stakeholders, technical consultants, and external vendors.

• Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience as an Oracle EBS Financial Functional Consultant.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and end-to-end financial business processes.
• Experience in Oracle EBS implementation, support, enhancement, and troubleshooting.
• Functional experience with Oracle EBS workflows, concurrent programs, interfaces, reports, and integrations.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering and preparing functional specifications.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective functional and technical solutions.
• Strong testing and UAT coordination experience.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Candidates who are available to join immediately are preferred.

Government-Sector Experience

Experience supporting government entities or government-sector projects is highly preferred, particularly in:

• Government financial and accounting processes.
• Budget preparation, control, and monitoring.
• Government expenditure and revenue processes.
• Commitment accounting and budgetary control.
• Financial approval and authorization workflows.
• Government procurement and payment cycles.
• Public-sector reporting, audit requirements, financial policies, and internal controls.
• Integration between Oracle Financials and government platforms or systems.
