We’re looking for a Head of Accounting Operations to lead our team of client-facing accountants and build a scalable, high-performing accounting operation. The ideal candidate is an accounting leader who can build the system, processes, and team structure that allow accountants to manage more clients while maintaining high quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and monitor the performance of the accounting team.
• Design and continuously improve accounting workflows, SOPs, and processes.
• Set and track team and individual KPIs around productivity, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Optimize workload and client allocation to increase accountant capacity and efficiency.
• Establish quality-control processes and ensure accurate, timely accounting.
• Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for automation and process improvement.
• Coach accountants, identify performance gaps, and build a high-performance culture.
• Work with Product & Engineering to improve accounting workflows and tools.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of accounting experience, with 3+ years in a leadership/management role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting, VAT, and Saudi accounting practices.
• Proven experience managing accounting teams and improving operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with accounting software and Excel.
• SOCPA membership/certification preferred.
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred.
