Hays is partnering with a confidential investment platform in Saudi Arabia to appoint a Senior Investment Director to lead the execution of complex investment and real estate transactions.

Role Overview

This is a senior execution-focused role responsible for managing investment opportunities from underwriting and due diligence through structuring, approvals, negotiations, and closing. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders, investors, developers, fund managers, and advisors to drive high-value transactions and support strategic investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the evaluation, structuring, and execution of complex investment opportunities across real estate, funds, joint ventures, and SPVs.
• Drive investment strategy, capital deployment decisions, and value creation initiatives across the portfolio.
• Oversee financial underwriting, valuation, transaction structuring, and investment return analysis.
• Present investment recommendations and strategic updates to senior management, Investment Committees, and Boards.
• Lead negotiations with investors, developers, lenders, fund managers, and strategic partners
• Provide strategic oversight of due diligence, governance, risk management, and transaction execution.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the investment ecosystem.
• Mentor and develop investment professionals while promoting best practices across the investment function.
• Support portfolio growth, expansion initiatives, and long-term investment performance
• Ensure alignment with governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and organisational objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Real Estate, Engineering, or a related field
• MBA or Master's degree from a leading international institution preferred
• CFA Charterholder or CFA Level III completed (mandatory)
• 12 years' experience in investment banking, private equity, asset management, principal investments, or real estate investing
• Strong experience with real estate investments, funds, JV structures, SPVs, and transaction execution
• Advanced financial modelling, valuation, and investment analysis skills
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi investment and real estate market
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
