تعلن شركة SylvCare للتوظيف الصحي عن توفر فرصة وظيفية لشغل منصب استشاري تخدير الأطفال في أحد مقدمي الرعاية الصحية الثالثية الرائدين في المملكة العربية السعودية، بمدينتي مكة وجدة.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- توفير التخدير المستقل للأطفال لمجموعة كاملة من الخدمات الجراحية بما في ذلك الجراحة العامة وحديثي الولادة، الأنف والأذن والحنجرة، العظام، العيون، المسالك البولية، حالات الطوارئ والإصابات لدى الأطفال، الأورام، الأشعة، والتدخلات الإجرائية.
- إجراء تخدير آمن للمرضى الأطفال ذوي الخطورة العالية (ASA III-IV)، بما في ذلك حالات مجرى الهواء المعقدة ورعاية الحالات الحرجة.
- قيادة والمشاركة في إدارة مجرى الهواء الصعب، الإدخال التسلسلي السريع، والإنعاش الطارئ.
- تقديم دعم التخدير لوحدات العناية المركزة لحديثي الولادة والأطفال، بما في ذلك حالات الطوارئ لحديثي الولادة، التحسين قبل الجراحة، والتحكم في الألم بعد الجراحة.
- إجراء والإشراف على الحصار العصبي الإقليمي والموجه بالموجات فوق الصوتية كجزء من إدارة الألم متعددة الوسائط.
- المشاركة في مناقشات الفريق متعدد التخصصات، تخطيط الرعاية قبل الجراحة، والمسارات السريرية القائمة على الأدلة.
- دعم مبادرات تحسين الجودة، مراجعات المراضة والوفيات، والتدقيق الداخلي للقسم.

الشروط والمتطلبات
- شهادة البورد الغربي في التخدير (مثل FRCA، American Board، FRCPC، CIC، FANZCA أو ما يعادلها).
- زمالة معترف بها في تخدير الأطفال أو خبرة واسعة على مستوى التعليم العالي في تخدير الأطفال (2-3 سنوات كحد أدنى).
- أهلية الحصول على تصنيف استشاري من الهيئة السعودية للتخصصات الصحية.
- خبرة في مستشفيات الأطفال الثالثية أو المراكز الجراحية الكبرى (مفضلة).
- التعرض لتخدير القلب للأطفال أو برامج مجرى الهواء المعقدة (مستحسن).
- خبرة في التدريب القائم على المحاكاة، مسارات ألم الأطفال، وخدمات التخدير (مستحسن).
- المشاركة في الأبحاث السريرية، تطوير الإرشادات، أو مشاريع تحسين الجودة (مستحسن).

We are seeking Pediatric Anesthesia Consultant to join a leading tertiary healthcare provider in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The successful applicant will provide comprehensive anaesthetic care for infants, children, and adolescents, supporting high-acuity surgical specialties and ensuring safe peri-operative management in accordance with international best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide independent pediatric anesthesia for a full spectrum of surgical services, including:
- General & neonatal surgery
- ENT, orthopedics, ophthalmology, urology
- Pediatric trauma and emergency cases
- Oncology, radiology, and interventional procedures
- Deliver safe anesthesia for high-risk paediatric patients (ASA III-IV), including complex airway and critical care cases.
- Lead and participate in difficult airway management, rapid sequence induction, and emergency resuscitation.
- Provide anesthesia support to NICU and PICU, including neonatal emergencies, pre-operative optimisation, and postoperative pain control.
- Perform and supervise regional and ultrasound-guided nerve blocks as part of multimodal pain management.
- Participate in MDT discussions, peri-operative care planning, and evidence-based clinical pathways.
- Support quality improvement initiatives, morbidity & mortality reviews, and departmental audits.
- Actively contribute to junior anaesthesia staff training, simulation sessions, and competency development programs.
- Ensure full compliance with SCFHS, JCI, and MOH standards of safety, documentation, and clinical governance.
- Western Board Certification in Anesthesia (e.g., FRCA, American Board, FRCPC, CIC, FANZCA, or equivalent).
- Recognised Fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia or extensive tertiary-level experience in paediatric anaesthesia (minimum 2-3 years).
- Eligible for SCFHS Consultant Classification.
- Proficiency in neonatal and paediatric airway management, regional anesthesia, and high-acuity paediatric cases.
- Experience in tertiary children’s hospitals or major surgical centres preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary paediatric teams.
- Exposure to pediatric cardiac anesthesia or complex airway programmes.
- Experience with simulation-based training, paediatric pain pathways, and sedation services.
- Participation in clinical research, guideline development, or QI projects.
