تسعى شركة WSP in the Middle East إلى تعيين مهندس مرور أول (Senior Traffic Engineer) للانضمام إلى فريقها في مشروع بنية تحتية وصرف مياه أمطار رئيسي في جدة، المملكة العربية السعودية.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • قيادة إعداد ومراجعة دراسات تأثير المرور وتقييمات النقل وخطط إدارة المرور.
  • دعم تصميم وتخطيط شبكات الطرق والبنية التحتية لصرف مياه الأمطار من خلال مدخلات هندسة المرور.
  • استخدام أدوات نمذجة المرور (مثل SYNCHRO وVISSIM وSIDRA) لتحليل وتحسين تدفق المرور وأداء التقاطعات.
  • التعاون مع فرق متعددة التخصصات تشمل مهندسي الطرق والصرف والتخطيط الحضري.
  • ضمان الامتثال للمعايير والإرشادات المحلية والدولية لهندسة المرور.
  • مراجعة مقدمات المقاولين والرسومات التصميمية والمواصفات المتعلقة بالنقل والمرور.
  • المشاركة في اجتماعات العملاء والمناقشات الفنية والتفتيش الميداني حسب الحاجة.
  • تقديم الإرشاد الفني والتوجيه للمهندسين والفنيين المبتدئين.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المدنية أو هندسة النقل (يفضل الماجستير).
  • خبرة لا تقل عن 15 عاماً في هندسة المرور ضمن مشاريع البنية التحتية الكبرى.
  • معرفة قوية باللوائح المرورية السعودية ومبادئ التنقل الحضري ومعايير السلامة المرورية.
  • إتقان استخدام برامج محاكاة ونمذجة المرور (مثل SYNCHRO وVISSIM وSIDRA وHCS).
  • خبرة سابقة في مشاريع البنية التحتية لصرف مياه الأمطار تعتبر ميزة إضافية.
  • مهارات تحليلية وإبلاغية وتواصلية قوية.
  • يفضل خبرة العمل مع الاستشارات الهندسية الدولية.
  • عضوية سارية في هيئة هندسية معترف بها؛ ويفضل التسجيل في الهيئة السعودية للمهندسين (SCE).

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Senior Traffic Engineer to join our team for a major infrastructure and stormwater project in Jeddah. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in traffic engineering, with a strong background in traffic impact assessments, modeling, and planning within large-scale infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and review of traffic impact studies, transport assessments, and traffic management plans.
  • Support the design and planning of road networks and stormwater infrastructure with traffic engineering inputs.
  • Use traffic modeling tools (e.g., SYNCHRO, VISSIM, SIDRA) to analyze and optimize traffic flow and intersection performance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including roadway, drainage, and urban planning engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international traffic engineering standards and guidelines.
  • Review contractor submissions, design drawings, and specifications related to traffic and transport.
  • Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and site inspections as required.
  • Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in traffic engineering within large infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi traffic regulations, urban mobility principles, and traffic safety standards.
  • Proficient in traffic simulation and modeling software (e.g., SYNCHRO, VISSIM, SIDRA, HCS).
  • Previous experience in stormwater-related infrastructure projects is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with international engineering consultancies is preferred.
  • Valid membership in a recognized engineering council; SCE registration preferred.
