المهام والمسؤوليات

  • دعم المهندس المقيم في الإشراف على أعمال الميكانيكا والكهرباء والسباكة (MEP) في الموقع.
  • الإشراف على المقاولين والمقاولين من الباطن لضمان تنفيذ الأعمال وفقاً للرسومات والمواصفات والجداول الزمنية المعتمدة.
  • مراقبة الأنشطة اليومية في الموقع وضمان الامتثال لمعايير مراقبة الجودة.
  • مراجعة واعتماد الرسومات التنفيذية، ومقدمات المواد، وبيانات الطرق المتعلقة بأعمال MEP.
  • ضمان التنسيق بين أعمال MEP والأعمال المدنية والمعمارية لتجنب التعارضات وإعادة العمل.
  • التواصل مع الاستشاريين والمقاولين وأصحاب المصلحة للتوضيحات الفنية.
  • إجراء التفتيش للتأكد من أن تركيبات MEP تلبي المعايير الدولية والكودات السعودية ومتطلبات العميل.
  • مراقبة عمليات الاختبار والتشغيل والتسليم لأنظمة MEP.
  • تحديد حالات عدم المطابقة وضمان تنفيذ الإجراءات التصحيحية.
  • تتبع تقدم أعمال MEP مقابل الجداول الزمنية والإبلاغ عن أي تأخير أو مخاطر.
  • إعداد تقارير يومية وأسبوعية وشهرية عن أنشطة الموقع والتقدم وقضايا الجودة.
  • المساعدة في تقييم مطالبات المقاولين والتغييرات والمدفوعات المرحلية.
  • ضمان امتثال جميع أعمال MEP لمعايير السلامة ولوائح الصحة والسلامة والبيئة السعودية.
  • الإبلاغ عن الظروف غير الآمنة وضمان اتخاذ الإجراءات التصحيحية الفورية.
  • المشاركة في اجتماعات ومراجعات السلامة.
  • الإشراف على مراحل ما قبل التشغيل والاختبار والتشغيل لجميع أنظمة MEP.
  • ضمان التوثيق السليم والامتثال لمتطلبات تسليم المشروع.
  • التواصل الفعال مع العملاء والاستشاريين والمقاولين.
  • حضور اجتماعات التنسيق وتقديم المدخلات الفنية المتعلقة بأعمال MEP.
  • تحقيق التسليم في الوقت المناسب لأعمال MEP وفقاً للمواصفات المعتمدة.
  • ضمان الامتثال لمعايير الجودة والسلامة والتنظيم.
  • توثيق دقيق وإعداد التقارير.
  • الاختبار والتشغيل والتسليم الناجح للمشروع.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الميكانيكية أو الكهربائية.
  • خبرة من 6 إلى 10 سنوات في الإشراف على إنشاءات MEP (يفضل مشاريع المباني).
  • يفضل وجود خبرة سابقة في المملكة العربية السعودية أو دول الخليج.
  • معرفة بممارسات إدارة المشاريع والإشراف الاستشاري.
  • الشهادات المهنية (مثل PMP، UPDA، التسجيل في الهيئة السعودية للمهندسين) تعتبر ميزة إضافية.

المهارات المطلوبة

  • معرفة قوية بأنظمة MEP (HVAC، الكهرباء، السباكة، الحماية من الحرائق، ELV، BMS).
  • الإلمام بالكودات السعودية ومعايير SASO والكودات الدولية (ASHRAE، NFPA، IEC).
  • مهارات قوية في الإشراف الميداني والتنسيق.
  • القدرة على مراجعة الوثائق والرسومات الفنية.
  • مهارات حل المشكلات واتخاذ القرارات.

Overview

The Assistant Resident Engineer (MEP) supports the Resident Engineer in supervising and coordinating all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities on-site. The role ensures that construction works are executed as per approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and local regulations in Saudi Arabia.

Your role

Site Supervision & Execution

  • Assist the Resident Engineer in overseeing MEP works including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, ELV, and BMS systems.
  • Supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
  • Monitor daily site activities and ensure compliance with QA/QC standards.

Technical Review & Coordination

  • Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements related to MEP works.
  • Ensure proper coordination between MEP and civil/architectural works to avoid conflicts and rework.
  • Liaise with design consultants, contractors, and stakeholders for technical clarifications.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

  • Conduct inspections to ensure MEP installations meet international standards, local Saudi codes, and client requirements.
  • Monitor testing, commissioning, and handover processes of MEP systems.
  • Identify non-conformances and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Progress Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track progress of MEP activities against project schedules and report any delays or risks.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on site activities, progress, and quality issues.
  • Assist in evaluating contractor claims, variations, and progress payments.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

  • Ensure all MEP works comply with site safety standards and Saudi HSE regulations.
  • Report unsafe conditions and ensure immediate corrective measures.
  • Participate in safety meetings and audits.

Testing & Commissioning

  • Supervise pre-commissioning, testing, and commissioning of all MEP systems.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with project handover requirements.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Attend coordination meetings and provide technical inputs related to MEP works.

About You

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, ELV, BMS).
  • Familiarity with Saudi building codes, SASO standards, and international codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC).
  • Strong site supervision and coordination skills.
  • Ability to review technical documents and drawings.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Good reporting and communication skills.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 6-10 years of experience in MEP construction supervision (building projects preferred).
  • Prior experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of project management and supervision consultancy practices.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, UPDA, Saudi Council of Engineers registration) are an advantage.

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to: Resident Engineer / Project Manager
  • Works closely with: QA/QC Engineers, HSE Officers, Site Engineers, Contractors
