المهام والمسؤوليات
- العمل كقائد تقني لأنشطة تصميم التحكم والحماية، وضمان التكامل الموثوق بين التخصصات الهندسية مع الحفاظ على معايير عالية للجودة والامتثال وتنفيذ المشاريع.
- قيادة ودعم تصميم أنظمة التحكم والحماية والتوزيع الكهربائي والاتصالات والمراقبة والجهد المنخفض لمحطات الجهد العالي.
- تطوير ومراجعة المخرجات الهندسية مثل المخططات أحادية الخط، والمخططات التخطيطية، وأنظمة الحماية، وتصميم الخدمات المساعدة، وحسابات الاستهلاك الكهربائي، ومخططات التداخل، وشبكات الاتصالات.
- ضمان امتثال التصاميم لمعايير الصناعة السارية، ومتطلبات الحماية، واللوائح، وتوقعات العملاء، ومواصفات المشروع.
- التنسيق مع الفرق الهندسية متعددة التخصصات لضمان التكامل الفعال لأنظمة التحكم والحماية في التصميم الكلي للمحطة.
- التخطيط والمشاركة في مراجعات التصميم التخصصية ومراجعات بوابات المشروع الرسمية.
- إعداد وصيانة الوثائق الهندسية، وقوائم الوثائق الأولية، وجداول التصميم، ومؤشرات الأداء الرئيسية للمشروع.
- مراقبة ميزانيات الهندسة والجداول الزمنية ومتطلبات الجودة وأداء التصميم طوال تنفيذ المشروع.
- دعم حل المشكلات التقنية وتقديم المساعدة الهندسية للعملاء وفرق المشروع.
- دعم أنشطة شراء المعدات والتعاون مع الموردين وأصحاب المصلحة الآخرين في المشروع.
- إدارة المقاولين الهندسيين المسؤولين عن حزم عمل محددة.
- تنفيذ وصيانة عمليات تغيير التصميم، وخطط المخاطر والتخفيف، وتتبع الإجراءات المرتبطة بها.
- ضمان اتباع أدوات وعمليات إدارة التصميم باستمرار، والحفاظ على دقة واتساق البيانات الهندسية.
- تقديم الإشراف التقني أثناء التشغيل واختبار أنظمة الجهد المنخفض.
- المساهمة في مبادرات التحسين المستمر وتعزيز التصاميم التي تسهل التركيب والتشغيل والصيانة طويلة الأجل.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الكهربائية أو تخصص هندسي ذي صلة من جامعة معتمدة.
- خبرة لا تقل عن 8 سنوات في الهندسة في بيئات المشاريع و EPC، خاصة في مشاريع النقل والتوزيع أو STATCOM أو محطات الجهد العالي.
- يفضل بشدة خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات في العمل مع الشركة السعودية للكهرباء (SEC) في المملكة العربية السعودية.
- خبرة في المكثفات المتزامنة في محطات الجهد العالي تعتبر ميزة.
- فهم قوي لأنظمة التحكم والحماية والجهد المنخفض والتوزيع الكهربائي والاتصالات والمراقبة والخدمات المساعدة في المحطات.
- معرفة بالعمليات الهندسية وتنظيم المشاريع وإدارة التصميم في مشاريع البنية التحتية المعقدة.
- قدرات قوية في حل المشكلات التقنية ومراجعة التصميم.
- مهارات ممتازة في التواصل الكتابي والشفهي باللغة الإنجليزية.
- القدرة على التعاون بفعالية مع فرق متعددة التخصصات وشرح المفاهيم التقنية المعقدة لأصحاب المصلحة غير التقنيين.
- فهم قوي لعمليات الجودة والإجراءات الهندسية والمتطلبات التنظيمية.

Accountabilities

- Lead and support the design of control, protection, electrical distribution, telecommunications, monitoring, and low-voltage systems for high-voltage substations.
- Develop and review engineering deliverables such as single-line diagrams, schematic diagrams, protection systems, auxiliary service designs, electrical consumption calculations, interlocking schemes, and communication networks.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards, protection requirements, regulations, customer expectations, and project specifications.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure effective integration of control and protection systems into the overall substation design.
- Plan and participate in discipline design reviews and formal project gate reviews.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, provisional document lists, design schedules, and project KPIs.
- Monitor engineering budgets, schedules, quality requirements, and design performance throughout project execution.
- Support technical problem-solving and provide engineering assistance to customers and project teams.
- Support equipment procurement activities and collaborate with suppliers and other project stakeholders.
- Manage engineering subcontractors responsible for specific work packages.
- Implement and maintain design change processes, risk and mitigation plans, and associated action tracking.
- Ensure design management tools and processes are consistently followed and engineering data remains accurate and coherent.
- Provide technical oversight during commissioning and testing of low-voltage systems.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and promote designs that facilitate installation, operation, and long-term maintenance.
The ideal candidate brings extensive electrical engineering experience in high-voltage substations and EPC or project-based environments, combined with strong technical leadership and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experience in project and EPC environments, particularly within transmission and distribution, STATCOM, or high-voltage substation projects.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) in Saudi Arabia is highly desirable.
- Experience with synchronous condensers in high-voltage substations is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of substation control, protection, low-voltage systems, electrical distribution, telecommunications, monitoring, and auxiliary services.
- Knowledge of engineering processes, project organization, and design management within complex infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical problem-solving and design review capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of quality processes, engineering procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage engineering subcontractors and coordinate multiple technical work packages.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% within the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and other regions for short- or medium-term assignments.
