انضم إلى CAE الشرق الأوسط كمهندس محاكي طيران أول (Senior Flight Simulator Engineer) للمساهمة في إنشاء العمليات الفنية لمركز تدريب طيران الرياض الجديد في السعودية. تتيح هذه الوظيفة التعامل مع مجموعة واسعة من أجهزة المحاكاة والأنظمة الحديثة، بما يدعم التعلم والتطور والترقية المهنية داخل الوظيفة الفنية.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- دعم أجهزة محاكاة الطيران وأجهزة التدريب الأخرى من خلال حضور مكالمات الصيانة، تجهيز الأجهزة، التحويلات، العروض التوضيحية، المساعدة أثناء اختبارات الطيران المحاكاة، ومتابعة إزالة الأعطال.
- تنفيذ مهام الصيانة الوقائية (PMTs)، الاستعداد اليومي (DR)، تشغيل اختبارات QTG الدورية، تحديث قاعدة بيانات الطائرات (ADB)، وتحديث خطط الدروس (IOS LP) على أجهزة التدريب والأنظمة المرتبطة بها، وضمان إنجازها وفق المعايير ومتابعة أي قصور وإغلاقه في الوقت المناسب.
- تشخيص واستكشاف وحل مشكلات أجهزة التدريب بما يشمل حالات التوقف التام (AOG) والمشكلات المرفوعة من هيئات الطيران المدني (NAA)، وإجراء تجديد الأجهزة وتعديلاتها، والعمل على حل المشكلات المتكررة بشكل دائم.
- مراقبة نظام SimHub/Simissues للاطلاع على التحديثات واستخدام نظام إدارة الصيانة المحوسب لتسجيل وتتبع ومراجعة وتحديث ومراقبة الأعطال وأنشطة الصيانة الأخرى، وإعداد تقارير لإدارة العمليات الفنية لمتابعة الأداء وتحليل الاتجاهات.
- تولي مهام قائد الوردية أو قائد الفريق أو المسؤول عن الجهاز أو المسؤول عن المهمة حسب التكليف، وإدارة جميع جوانب المهمة بشكل مستقل، وإنشاء أو تحسين أو تحديث الإجراءات والتعليمات للمهام الجديدة والروتينية وغير الروتينية.
- التعاون مع الخبراء الفنيين في FSTD في المشكلات التي تتطلب اختباراً واستكشافاً، والمساهمة في مشاريع خاصة وفق احتياجات مركز التدريب.
- توجيه وتدريب الزملاء الأقل خبرة أثناء العمل (OJT)، ودعمهم في المهام المعقدة وأعمال الصيانة التصحيحية، والسعي لاكتساب المعرفة والمهارات ليصبح خبيراً فنياً في نظام واحد أو أكثر من أنظمة FSTD (مثل البصري، الحركة، التحكم في الطيران، QTGs).
- الامتثال لمعايير الصحة والسلامة البيئية المحلية والعالمية لـ CAE، وإبداء العناية الواجبة تجاه سلامته وسلامة الآخرين المتأثرين بعمله.
- تحديد أولويات وتخطيط وتنسيق معظم مهام الصيانة، ومراجعة وتحديث جميع المشكلات بانتظام لأغراض التخطيط، وإعداد تقارير للاجتماعات الفنية، وضمان جاهزية أجهزة التدريب للتقييمات الدورية لهيئة الطيران المدني، والتأكد من تحديث سجلات الصيانة.
- ضمان تحقيق جميع أجهزة التدريب لمؤشرات الأداء الرئيسية (KPIs) الخاصة بـ CAE والإدارة واتفاقيات مستوى الخدمة، والتأكد من إنجاز المشاريع والاستعدادات اليومية وإغلاقها في الوقت المناسب، ومعالجة المشكلات الحرجة للعميل والجهة الرسمية ضمن الأهداف المحددة.
- المشاركة في الاجتماعات الفنية الأسبوعية، تقييمات هيئة الطيران المدني، التدقيقات الداخلية/الخارجية، واجتماعات مراجعة اتفاقيات مستوى الخدمة مع الإدارة العليا لـ CAE و/أو العميل، والعمل كمدير ممارس أو قائد مجموعة العمليات الفنية في غيابه، والتنسيق مع خدمة العملاء في CAE لمتابعة المشكلات الحرجة.
- المساعدة والمشاركة في تقييم الأداء السنوي للفريق والأفراد، ومساعدة المدير أو قائد المجموعة في وضع خطة تطوير الموظفين، وتنظيم ورش عمل فنية وتقديم التدريب أثناء العمل لدعم موظفي FSTD.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- دبلوم تقني أو درجة بكالوريوس في تخصص إلكترونيات أو كهرباء أو ميكانيكا أو طيران/فضاء، وخبرة عمل لا تقل عن 7 سنوات في مجال ذي صلة.
- إجادة ممتازة للغة الإنجليزية تحدثاً وكتابة.
- شخصية ملتزمة ومتحفزة للعمل.
- توجّه عالٍ نحو خدمة العملاء والقدرة على التعامل بلباقة في المواقف الحساسة.

This role offers exposure to a wide range of modern simulators, systems, and equipment, providing opportunities for learning, development, and progression within the technical function.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the Flight Simulator Training Devices and Other Training Devices: Attend maintenance calls, device setup, conversions, demos, assist during Simulator Flight Tests, support snag clearance activities, etc…
- Independently perform the Preventive Maintenance Tasks (PMTs), Daily Readiness (DR), Recurrent QTG runs, Aircraft Database (ADB) updates, & IOS Lesson Plan (LP) updates on the training devices & associated systems. Ensure that all tasks are carried out according to the standards. Ensure that deficiencies associated with these tasks are followed up, actioned, and closed in a timely manner.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve training device issues, including AOGs and NAA raised issues. Perform hardware refurbishment, and modifications. Identify recurring issues and work to pursue permanent solutions. Monitor SimHub/Simissues for updates & use the Computerized Maintenance Management System to record, track, review, update, & monitor deficiencies and other maintenance activities. Produce reports for TCOPS Management to monitor performance and identify trends.
- May be assigned to the role of Shift Lead, Team Lead, Device Caretaker or Task Caretaker. Manage all aspects of the assigned role autonomously. Create, improve, or update procedures & guidelines for new, routine, and non-routine tasks.
- Work with the FSTD Technical Specialists on issues that require testing, troubleshooting. Take on special projects based on the needs of the Training Center Operation.
- Mentor & provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) to more junior colleagues. Provide support for work on more complex tasks & during corrective maintenance tasks. Pursue knowledge and skills to strive to become a technical expert in one or more FSTD system. (i.e. Visual, Motion, Flt Controls, QTGs, etc…)
- Comply with local & global CAE Environmental Health & Safety standards, instructions, and safe working procedures. Exercise duty of care for own H&S, and that of others who may be affected by his/her work.
- Prioritize, plan, & coordinate most maintenance tasks, regularly review and update all issues for planning purposes, generate reports for review during technical meetings, ensure that the training devices are ready for NAA recurrent evaluations, make sure that all maintenance records are up-to-date.
- Ensure that all training devices achieve the CAE, Departmental, and Service Level Agreement KPIs. Ensure that all projects and DRs are worked on, addressed, and brought to closure in a timely manner. Make sure that authority and customer business critical issues are cleared within specified targets.
- Participate in weekly technical meetings, NAA evaluations, internal/external audits, & SLA review meetings with CAE upper management and/or the customer. Act as Deputy Manager or Group Leader Technical Operations in his/her absence. Work with CAE Customer Service to follow-up on business-critical issues.
- Assist and actively participate in the yearly performance evaluation of the team and individuals. Assist the Manager or Group Leader Technical Operations in the generation of the employee development plan. Mentor and share knowledge with fellow engineers and technicians in order to develop their skillsets. Develop technical workshops and provide on the job training to FSTD Support Staff.
- Technical College Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical/Aerospace Field and at least 7 years of related work experience.
- Excellent knowledge of the English Language, both spoken and written.

- Knowledge of Analog and Digital principles and theory.
- Must possess adequate troubleshooting skills of Electronic, Electric, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic systems.
- Able to mentor and provide On the Job Training to more junior colleagues.
- Must be skilled in the use of test equipment, and software diagnostics tools.
- Good understanding and comprehension of Aircraft Systems, Avionics, Motion, and Visual Systems.
- Good computer skills with knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc…)
- Basic knowledge of computer mainframe/architecture, networking, operating systems (Windows NT/XP, UNIX, Linux, AIX), and software languages (C, C++, FORTRAN).
