المهام والمسؤوليات
- قيادة التصميم الكهربائي لأنظمة خدمات المباني للمشاريع المعقدة الجديدة و مشاريع الترميم والتطوير متعدد الاستخدامات.
- تطوير حلول التصميم الكهربائي المنسقة عبر جميع مراحل المشروع، بما في ذلك المفهوم والتصميم المبدئي والتفصيلي ومرحلة المناقصة ودعم الإنشاء.
- تصميم وتحديد مواصفات أنظمة توزيع الطاقة ذات الجهد المنخفض، الإضاءة، الإضاءة الطارئة، الطاقة الصغيرة، التأريض والحماية من الصواعق، الطاقة الاحتياطية، أنظمة UPS، وواجهات ELV/ICT حسب الاقتضاء.
- إنتاج ومراجعة الحسابات الكهربائية والتقارير الفنية والمواصفات والرسومات والجداول ووثائق التصميم.
- ضمان تكامل الأنظمة الكهربائية مع التصميم المعماري وهيكل المبنى واستراتيجية MEP الشاملة لدعم بيئات داخلية عالية الأداء وموفرة للطاقة.
- التنسيق الوثيق مع الفرق الميكانيكية والصحية والصحية العامة والاستدامة والاستشاريين المتخصصين لحل الواجهات وتقديم تصاميم منسقة بالكامل.
- تطبيق الكودات والمعايير والمتطلبات التنظيمية السعودية والإقليمية والدولية ذات الصلة طوال عملية التصميم.
- دعم قرارات التصميم الموفرة للطاقة، بما في ذلك تقييم الأنظمة البديلة وفرص توفير الطاقة واعتبارات دورة الحياة والقابلية للتكيف مستقبلاً.
- قيادة المراجعات الفنية وعمليات ضمان الجودة وإدارة مخاطر التصميم لمخرجات الكهرباء.
- تقديم التوجيه الفني الواضح والإرشاد والدعم اليومي للمهندسين الخريجين والمبتدئين.
- حضور اجتماعات العملاء وفرق التصميم والموقع؛ توصيل نية التصميم والمخاطر الفنية والفرص والحلول بوضوح وثقة.
- مراجعة عروض المقاولين ورسومات الورش واقتراحات المواد والاستفسارات الفنية أثناء مرحلة الإنشاء.
- دعم تخطيط المشروع وتنسيق الموارد وإدارة البرنامج والتسليم التجاري ضمن النطاق والرسوم والجداول الزمنية المتفق عليها.
- المساهمة في التطوير المستمر للتميز الفني لشركة Buro Happold وثقافة التصميم وتبادل المعرفة عبر ممارسة المباني.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الكهربائية أو تخصص ذي صلة.
- خبرة كبيرة بعد التخرج في هندسة خدمات المباني الكهربائية، ويفضل في بيئة استشارية متعددة التخصصات.
- خبرة مثبتة في تقديم التصاميم الكهربائية للمباني المعقدة مثل المشاريع التجارية والفندقية والسكنية والثقافية والرعاية الصحية والتعليمية والطيران والنقل أو مشاريع التطوير متعدد الاستخدامات واسعة النطاق.
- فهم فني قوي لأنظمة الطاقة الكهربائية، الإضاءة، أنظمة الطوارئ، المولدات الاحتياطية، UPS، التأريض، الحماية من الصواعق وواجهات ELV ذات الصلة.
- خبرة في تنسيق خدمات MEP ضمن فرق التصميم بقيادة معماريين وفرق متعددة التخصصات.
- معرفة عملية بالكودات والمعايير والمتطلبات التنظيمية الكهربائية المطبقة على المشاريع في المملكة العربية السعودية والشرق الأوسط الأوسع.
- إتقان برامج التصميم والتحليل ذات الصلة مثل Revit وAutoCAD وبرامج الحسابات الكهربائية وأدوات التنسيق BIM.
- خبرة في إعداد المواصفات والتقارير والحسابات والرسومات ووثائق المناقصة.
- مهارات تواصل قوية وإدارة أصحاب المصلحة، مع الثقة للتعامل مباشرة مع العملاء والمعماريين والمقاولين والجهات التنظيمية.
- القدرة على إدارة الأولويات والعمل بشكل مستقل عند الحاجة والمساهمة بشكل إيجابي ضمن فريق تعاوني.
- العضوية المهنية أو التقدم نحو الزمالة/التسجيل لدى مؤسسة هندسية معترف بها أمر مرغوب فيه.

Your key duties
- Lead the electrical design of building-services systems for complex new-build, refurbishment and mixed-use developments.
- Develop coordinated electrical design solutions across all project stages, including concept, schematic, detailed design, tender and construction support.
- Design and specify low-voltage power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, small power, earthing and lightning protection, standby power, UPS systems, and ELV/ICT interfaces as applicable.
- Produce and review electrical calculations, technical reports, specifications, drawings, schedules and design documentation.
- Ensure electrical systems are integrated with the architectural design, building fabric and wider MEP strategy to support high-performing, energy-efficient internal environments.
- Coordinate closely with mechanical, public health, sustainability and specialist consultants to resolve interfaces and deliver fully coordinated designs.
- Apply relevant Saudi Arabian, regional and international codes, standards and authority requirements throughout the design process.
- Support energy-conscious design decisions, including the evaluation of alternative systems, energy-saving opportunities, lifecycle considerations and future adaptability.
- Lead technical reviews, quality assurance processes and design risk management for electrical deliverables.
- Provide clear technical guidance, mentoring and day-to-day support to graduate and junior engineers.
- Attend client, design-team and site meetings; communicate design intent, technical risks, opportunities and solutions with clarity and confidence.
- Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, material proposals and technical queries during construction-stage services.
- Support project planning, resource coordination, programme management and commercial delivery within agreed scope, fee and timescales.
- Contribute to the continued development of Buro Happold’s technical excellence, design culture and knowledge-sharing across the Buildings practice.
You are a technically strong and collaborative electrical building-services engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of design quality, sustainability and practical delivery. You can translate complex engineering requirements into clear, coordinated and commercially viable solutions.
You Will Ideally Have
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Significant post-graduate experience in electrical building-services engineering, ideally within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment.
- Demonstrable experience delivering electrical designs for complex buildings, such as commercial, hospitality, residential, cultural, healthcare, education, aviation, transport or large-scale mixed-use developments.
- Strong technical understanding of electrical power systems, lighting, emergency systems, standby generation, UPS, earthing, lightning protection and relevant ELV interfaces.
- Experience coordinating MEP services within architect-led and multidisciplinary design teams.
- Working knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards and authority requirements applicable to projects in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East.
- Proficiency in relevant design and analysis software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, electrical calculation software and BIM coordination tools.
- Experience preparing specifications, reports, calculations, drawings and tender documentation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to engage directly with clients, architects, contractors and authorities.
- The ability to manage priorities, work independently when required and contribute positively within a collaborative team.
- Professional membership or progress toward chartership/registration with a recognised engineering institution is desirable.
