نبذة عن الوظيفة
بصفتك مهندساً كهربائياً أولاً، ستؤدي دوراً تقنياً وتنفيذياً رئيسياً ضمن فريق الرياض. ستقود تصميم وتنسيق أنظمة الخدمات الكهربائية للمباني عبر مجموعة متنوعة من المشاريع، بدءاً من المفهوم الأولي وجدوى المشروع وصولاً إلى التصميم التفصيلي والتنفيذ والتسليم. ستعمل بشكل وثيق مع فرق متعددة التخصصات (ميكانيكية، صحية، استدامة، إنشائية، إطفاء، واجهات، إضاءة، رقمية، متخصصة) بالإضافة إلى المهندسين المعماريين والمقاولين والعملاء. ستوظف حكماً هندسياً سليماً وقدرة تقنية قوية ونهجاً استباقياً لحل المشكلات في بيئة تصميم متعددة التخصصات.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- قيادة التصميم الكهربائي لأنظمة خدمات المباني للمشاريع المعقدة الجديدة، والتجديد، والمشاريع متعددة الاستخدامات.
- تطوير حلول تصميم كهربائي منسقة عبر جميع مراحل المشروع: المفهوم، التخطيط المبدئي، التصميم التفصيلي، طرح العطاءات، ودعم التنفيذ.
- تصميم وتحديد مواصفات توزيع الطاقة الكهربائية منخفضة الجهد، والإضاءة، والإضاءة الطارئة، والقوى الصغيرة، والتأريض والحماية من الصواعق، والطاقة الاحتياطية، وأنظمة UPS، وواجهات ELV/ICT حسب الاقتضاء.
- إنتاج ومراجعة الحسابات الكهربائية، والتقارير الفنية، والمواصفات، والرسومات، والجداول الزمنية، ووثائق التصميم.
- ضمان تكامل الأنظمة الكهربائية مع التصميم المعماري وهيكل المبنى واستراتيجية MEP الشاملة لدعم البيئات الداخلية عالية الأداء والموفرة للطاقة.
- التنسيق الوثيق مع الاستشاريين الميكانيكيين، والصحيين، والاستدامة، وغيرهم من المتخصصين لحل الواجهات وتقديم تصاميم منسقة بالكامل.
- تطبيق الكودات والمعايير والمتطلبات الرسمية السعودية والإقليمية والدولية ذات الصلة خلال عملية التصميم.
- دعم قرارات التصميم المراعية للطاقة، بما في ذلك تقييم الأنظمة البديلة، وفرص توفير الطاقة، واعتبارات دورة الحياة، والقابلية للتكيف مستقبلاً.
- قيادة المراجعات الفنية وعمليات ضمان الجودة وإدارة مخاطر التصميم للتسليمات الكهربائية.
- تقديم إرشاد فني واضح وتدريب ودعم يومي للمهندسين الخريجين والمبتدئين.
- حضور اجتماعات العملاء وفريق التصميم والموقع، والتواصل بشأن نية التصميم والمخاطر الفنية والفرص والحلول بوضوح وثقة.
- مراجعة مستندات المقاول ورسومات الورش واقتراحات المواد والاستفسارات الفنية خلال مرحلة خدمات البناء.
- دعم تخطيط المشاريع وتنسيق الموارد وإدارة البرامج والتسليم التجاري ضمن النطاق المتفق عليه والرسوم والجداول الزمنية.
- المساهمة في التطوير المستمر للتميز التقني لـ Buro Happold وثقافة التصميم ومشاركة المعرفة عبر ممارسات المباني.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الكهربائية أو تخصص ذي صلة.
- خبرة كبيرة بعد التخرج في هندسة الخدمات الكهربائية للمباني، ويفضل أن تكون في بيئة استشارية متعددة التخصصات.
- خبرة مثبتة في تقديم التصاميم الكهربائية للمباني المعقدة (تجارية، ضيافة، سكنية، ثقافية، رعاية صحية، تعليمية، طيران، نقل، أو مشاريع متعددة الاستخدامات واسعة النطاق).
- فهم تقني قوي لأنظمة الطاقة الكهربائية، والإضاءة، والأنظمة الطارئة، والمولدات الاحتياطية، و UPS، والتأريض، والحماية من الصواعق، وواجهات ELV ذات الصلة.
- خبرة في تنسيق خدمات MEP ضمن فرق تصميم متعددة التخصصات بقيادة المهندسين المعماريين.
- معرفة عملية بالكودات الكهربائية والمعايير والمتطلبات الرسمية المطبقة في المملكة العربية السعودية ومنطقة الشرق الأوسط.
- خبرة في إعداد المواصفات والتقارير والحسابات والرسومات ووثائق طرح العطاءات.
- مهارات قوية في التواصل وإدارة أصحاب المصلحة مع الثقة في التعامل المباشر مع العملاء والمهندسين المعماريين والمقاولين والجهات الرسمية.
- القدرة على إدارة الأولويات والعمل بشكل مستقل عند الحاجة والمساهمة بإيجابية ضمن فريق تعاوني.
- العضوية المهنية أو التقدم نحو الزمالة/التسجيل لدى مؤسسة هندسية معترف بها أمر مرغوب فيه.
المهارات المطلوبة
- إتقان برامج التصميم والتحليل ذات الصلة مثل Revit و AutoCAD وبرامج الحسابات الكهربائية وأدوات تنسيق BIM.

Your key duties
- Lead the electrical design of building-services systems for complex new-build, refurbishment and mixed-use developments.
- Develop coordinated electrical design solutions across all project stages, including concept, schematic, detailed design, tender and construction support.
- Design and specify low-voltage power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, small power, earthing and lightning protection, standby power, UPS systems, and ELV/ICT interfaces as applicable.
- Produce and review electrical calculations, technical reports, specifications, drawings, schedules and design documentation.
- Ensure electrical systems are integrated with the architectural design, building fabric and wider MEP strategy to support high-performing, energy-efficient internal environments.
- Coordinate closely with mechanical, public health, sustainability and specialist consultants to resolve interfaces and deliver fully coordinated designs.
- Apply relevant Saudi Arabian, regional and international codes, standards and authority requirements throughout the design process.
- Support energy-conscious design decisions, including the evaluation of alternative systems, energy-saving opportunities, lifecycle considerations and future adaptability.
- Lead technical reviews, quality assurance processes and design risk management for electrical deliverables.
- Provide clear technical guidance, mentoring and day-to-day support to graduate and junior engineers.
- Attend client, design-team and site meetings; communicate design intent, technical risks, opportunities and solutions with clarity and confidence.
- Review contractor submittals, shop drawings, material proposals and technical queries during construction-stage services.
- Support project planning, resource coordination, programme management and commercial delivery within agreed scope, fee and timescales.
- Contribute to the continued development of Buro Happold’s technical excellence, design culture and knowledge-sharing across the Buildings practice.
You are a technically strong and collaborative electrical building-services engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of design quality, sustainability and practical delivery. You can translate complex engineering requirements into clear, coordinated and commercially viable solutions.
You will ideally have:
- A bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Significant post-graduate experience in electrical building-services engineering, ideally within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment.
- Demonstrable experience delivering electrical designs for complex buildings, such as commercial, hospitality, residential, cultural, healthcare, education, aviation, transport or large-scale mixed-use developments.
- Strong technical understanding of electrical power systems, lighting, emergency systems, standby generation, UPS, earthing, lightning protection and relevant ELV interfaces.
- Experience coordinating MEP services within architect-led and multidisciplinary design teams.
- Working knowledge of relevant electrical codes, standards and authority requirements applicable to projects in Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East.
- Proficiency in relevant design and analysis software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, electrical calculation software and BIM coordination tools.
- Experience preparing specifications, reports, calculations, drawings and tender documentation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to engage directly with clients, architects, contractors and authorities.
- The ability to manage priorities, work independently when required and contribute positively within a collaborative team.
- Professional membership or progress toward chartership/registration with a recognised engineering institution is desirable.
