المهام والمسؤوليات

- الامتثال والتفتيش: ضمان امتثال التصاميم والتركيبات للكودات السعودية والدولية. إجراء عمليات التدقيق والتفتيش.
- إدارة المخاطر: قيادة تقييمات مخاطر الحرائق وتحليلات الأخطار. تطوير استراتيجيات التخفيف للمشاريع البارزة.
- الاختبار والتشغيل: قيادة الاختبار المتكامل وتشغيل أنظمة الحماية من الحرائق والسلامة الحياتية لتلبية المتطلبات التنظيمية والتصميمية.
- التواصل مع العملاء: التفاعل مع العملاء وتقديم الاستشارات الخبيرة والحفاظ على رضاهم.
- التنسيق مع أصحاب المصلحة: التنسيق مع المهندسين المعماريين وأصحاب المصلحة والمقاولين والجهات الحكومية لضمان تسليم المشاريع بسلاسة.
- تطوير الفريق: توجيه وإرشاد الاستشاريين المبتدئين والخريجين. تعزيز تبادل المعرفة والابتكار في ممارسات السلامة من الحرائق.
- تطوير الأعمال: دعم مبادرات النمو من خلال المساهمة في العروض وحضور اجتماعات العملاء وتمثيل WSP في الفعاليات الصناعية.
- القيادة الفكرية: رفع مكانة فريق السلامة من الحرائق والحياة في WSP من خلال المشاركة في المؤتمرات والنشر والمنتديات المهنية.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة أو مجال تقني ذي صلة (الهندسة الوقائية من الحرائق، الميكانيكية، الكهربائية، المدنية، العمارة أو مجال ذي صلة).
- خبرة من 8 إلى 10 سنوات في استشارات هندسة السلامة من الحرائق والحياة.
- معرفة قوية بكود البناء السعودي (SBC 201 و SBC 801) والكودات والمعايير الدولية (UAE, IBC, NFPA, BS وغيرها).
- خبرة في تصميم الحماية من الحرائق وأنظمة كشف الحرائق والإنذار وأنظمة التحكم في الدخان وتقييمات المخاطر وعمليات تدقيق الامتثال.
- مهارات ممتازة في التواصل والقيادة.

WSP in the Middle East are seeking a Senior Consultant - Fire & Life Safety to join our team in Riyadh. In this leadership role, you will lead consultations regarding fire protection and life safety systems for large-scale projects throughout the region. You will lead the development of fire and life safety strategies and engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure compliance with codes and standards of record including the Saudi Building Code (SBC 201 and SBC 801), international codes, and standards (UAE, IBC, NFPA, BS, and others).
Responsibilities
WSP in the Middle East are seeking a Senior Consultant - Fire & Life Safety to join our team in Riyadh. In this leadership role, you will lead consultations regarding fire protection and life safety systems for large-scale projects throughout the region. You will lead the development of fire and life safety strategies and engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure compliance with codes and standards of record including the Saudi Building Code (SBC 201 and SBC 801), international codes, and standards (UAE, IBC, NFPA, BS, and others).
Responsibilities
- Design Oversight: Lead consultations regarding fire and life safety systems, fire detection and alarm systems, water-based suppression systems, clean agent extinguishing systems, smoke control systems, and passive fire protection systems for complex projects. Maintain and cultivate a high standard of quality deliverables and communications.
- Compliance & Inspection: Ensure designs and installations comply with Saudi and international codes. Conduct audits and inspections.
- Risk Management: Lead fire risk assessments and hazard analyses. Develop mitigation strategies for high-profile projects.
- Testing & Commissioning: Lead integrated testing and commissioning of fire and life safety systems to meet regulatory and design requirements.
- Client Engagement: Engage with clients. Provide expert advice and maintain client satisfaction.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with architects, stakeholders, contractors, and government authorities to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Team Development: Mentor and guide junior and graduate consultants. Foster knowledge sharing and innovation in fire safety practices.
- Business Development: Support growth initiatives by contributing to proposals, attending client meetings, and representing WSP at industry events.
- Thought Leadership: Raise the profile of WSP’s Fire & Life Safety team through participation in conferences, publications, and professional forums.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related technical field (Fire Protection, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Architecture or related field).
- 8-10 years of experience in fire life safety/protection engineering consulting.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC 201 and SBC 801), international codes, and standards (UAE, IBC, NFPA, BS, and others).
- Expertise in fire protection design, fire detection and alarm systems, smoke control systems, risk assessments, and compliance audits.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
