Role Description The Engineering Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah, responsible for supporting the hotel’s engineering and maintenance operations. This role coordinates engineering projects and daily maintenance activities, ensuring work orders are logged, prioritized, and completed in a timely manner. The Engineering Coordinator assists in tracking budgets, managing documentation, and maintaining records for equipment, inspections, and preventive maintenance. This position works closely with the Engineering Manager and other departments to facilitate communication, schedule contractors, and support compliance with safety and operational standards. The role also helps monitor project timelines, prepare reports, and follow up on outstanding tasks to ensure smooth hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Project Coordination and Project Management skills to support engineering initiatives and maintenance activities.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Budgeting abilities to track costs, monitor resource utilization, and support financial planning.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, external vendors, and management.
• Relevant experience in hotel engineering, facilities management, or building maintenance is beneficial.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices, safety standards, and basic technical systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office or similar software for reporting, scheduling, and documentation is preferred.
• Diploma or degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
