Role DescriptionThe Senior Architectural Technical Engineer will lead architectural technical coordination and documentation, ensuring seamless integration between architectural, interior, joinery, BIM, and engineering requirements.The role requires a technically strong architectural professional who can work closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and other project disciplines to deliver coordinated, high-quality solutions in line with project requirements, specifications, and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate architectural technical works throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop, review, and coordinate architectural drawings, details, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate architectural requirements with Structural, MEP, Interior Design, Joinery, BIM, and other disciplines.
• Review and coordinate joinery shop drawings, details, materials, samples, and technical submittals.
• Ensure proper integration between architectural finishes, joinery works, interior design requirements, and site conditions.
• Review design and technical proposals and identify potential coordination or constructability issues.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and interdisciplinary coordination issues.
• Work closely with the BIM team to ensure effective model integration and coordination.
• Review BIM models and support clash detection, coordination, and resolution.
• Ensure architectural works comply with project specifications, approved design requirements, applicable standards, and local regulations.
• Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, suppliers, and relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in design and technical reviews and provide practical architectural solutions.
• Support project documentation, technical submissions, and approval processes.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior architectural team members where required.
• Contribute to improving architectural technical standards, coordination processes, and project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong professional experience in architectural technical coordination and detailed design.
• Proven experience in commercial, retail, office, hospitality, or high-end interior projects.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in BIM and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Hands-on experience with joinery works, including shop drawings, detailing, materials, and technical coordination.
• Proficiency in relevant architectural and BIM software, particularly AutoCAD and Revit; knowledge of other design and visualization tools is an advantage.
• Good understanding of architectural detailing, materials, finishes, constructability, and construction processes.
• Knowledge of Saudi Arabia / GCC building codes, regulations, standards, and construction practices is preferred.
• Strong project coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple technical requirements and priorities.
