Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated F5 Administrator with approximately 3 years of hands-on experience in managing, configuring, and supporting F5 BIG-IP environments. The ideal candidate should have solid expertise in F5 load balancing technologies, along with a foundational understanding of network security and network infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining application delivery services, ensuring high availability, and supporting network-related troubleshooting activities.

Key Responsibilities

* Configure, administer, and maintain F5 BIG-IP platforms, including LTM (Local Traffic Manager).
* Manage virtual servers, pools, nodes, health monitors, SSL profiles, and traffic policies.
* Perform software upgrades, patches, backups, and disaster recovery procedures for F5 devices.
* Monitor F5 system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
* Troubleshoot application delivery, load balancing, SSL, and connectivity issues.
* Collaborate with application, server, and network teams to implement and support business requirements.
* Assist in implementing and maintaining high-availability (HA) configurations.
* Support change management activities and maintain technical documentation.
* Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for service outages.
* Provide operational support for network infrastructure and security-related tasks when required.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience administering F5 BIG-IP solutions.
* Experience with:
* F5 BIG-IP LTM administration and troubleshooting.
* SSL certificate management and SSL offloading.
* Load balancing concepts and application traffic management.
* High Availability (HA) and failover configurations.
* DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, and networking fundamentals.
* Basic to intermediate understanding of network infrastructure, including:
* Routing and switching concepts.
* VLANs, subnetting, and network troubleshooting.
* Firewall and network security fundamentals.
* Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience with F5 ASM, APM, DNS, or AFM modules.
* F5 Certified Administrator (F5-CA) or equivalent certification.
* Familiarity with network security technologies and best practices.
* Knowledge of scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ansible.
* Experience working in enterprise or data center environments.
