Role Description The DIESEL MECHANIC - HEAVY TRUCKS role at ARABAT LOGISTICS is a full-time, on-site position based in Dammam. The mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines and heavy trucks, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Daily tasks include performing routine and corrective maintenance, conducting preventive maintenance checks, troubleshooting faults, and completing service records accurately. The role involves working with heavy equipment, coordinating repairs with operations teams, ensuring vehicles meet safety and regulatory standards, and responding to breakdowns as needed. The mechanic is expected to maintain a clean and safe workshop environment and follow company procedures and safety guidelines.
Qualifications

• Strong skills in Diesel Mechanics and Heavy Equipment repair and servicing.
• Proficiency in Vehicle Maintenance and Equipment Maintenance for heavy trucks.
• Experience with Preventive Maintenance programs, inspections, and scheduled servicing.
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in automotive/diesel technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic for heavy trucks or commercial vehicles.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools, service manuals, and repair equipment safely and effectively.
• Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to safety standards.
• Ability to work on-site in Dammam, collaborate with operations teams, and manage time effectively.
