Role Description The Facade Engineer will be responsible for the design, analysis, and coordination of building facades and envelopes for a range of projects, including residential, commercial, and large-scale developments. Day-to-day tasks include preparing detailed facade drawings and specifications, performing structural and building physics analyses, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and sustainability requirements. The role involves close collaboration with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and suppliers to select materials, optimize performance, and resolve technical issues during design, fabrication, and installation. The Facade Engineer will also contribute to value engineering, quality assurance, and on-site inspections to ensure precision, durability, and safety. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Qualifications

• Strong expertise in facade design, including building envelope and facade systems, with the ability to develop practical and innovative solutions.
• Solid grounding in structural engineering principles as applied to facades, including load analysis, connection design, and material behavior.
• Knowledge of building physics, including thermal performance, air and moisture control, acoustics, and energy efficiency in facade design.
• Experience with relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, structural analysis tools, and facade modeling software).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Familiarity with regional building codes and standards, especially Saudi Building Code and green building requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills, with attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders at different project stages.
• Previous experience in metal, aluminum, or curtain wall systems manufacturing or installation is an advantage.
