JOB VACANCY - DG SPECIALIST

Al Rehab Perfumes Company is looking for a DG Specialist to join our team in Jeddah and handle the preparation and processing of Dangerous Goods (DG) shipments for perfumery and fragrance products.

Key Responsibilities

·        Prepare and process DG shipments in accordance with applicable air-transport regulations.

·        Classify and prepare perfumery and fragrance products based on their Dangerous Goods classification.

·        Ensure correct packaging, marking, labeling, documentation, and shipment preparation.

·        Prepare and verify required DG declarations and shipping documents.

·        Ensure compliance with IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (IATA DGR) and applicable airline and transport requirements.

·        Coordinate with freight forwarders, airlines, and relevant internal departments regarding DG shipments.

·        Maintain accurate DG records and ensure shipments comply with current requirements.

Requirements

·        Previous experience handling Dangerous Goods shipments, preferably in perfumery, fragrance, cosmetics, or similar products.

·        Valid IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) training/certificate, appropriate to the candidate’s job function, particularly for personnel involved in preparing and processing DG shipments for air transport.

·        Good knowledge of DG classification, packaging, labeling, marking, and documentation requirements.

·        Strong attention to detail and understanding of compliance procedures.

·        Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with logistics and shipping teams.
