بارسونز تبحث عن مهندس مواد (معماري/إنشائي) للانضمام إلى فريقها في الرياض، حيث سيتولى مسؤولية الإدارة والإشراف الفني على جميع أنشطة هندسة واختبار واعتماد وتفتيش المواد الإنشائية في المشروع.
نبذة عن الوظيفة
سيكون مهندس المواد مسؤولاً عن إدارة وتقديم الإشراف الفني على جميع أنشطة هندسة مواد البناء واختبارها واعتمادها وتفتيشها والامتثال لها عبر المشروع. سيتأكد من أن المواد التي يقترحها المقاولون ويستخدمونها تتوافق مع مواصفات المشروع المعتمدة والمعايير المطبقة ومتطلبات التصميم ومتطلبات العميل. سيعمل المنسق بشكل وثيق مع فرق هندسة المواد والجودة والبناء والمشتريات ومختبرات الاختبار ووكالات التفتيش المستقلة والاستشاريين والمقاولين وموردي المواد والمصنعين ومصانع الخرسانة الأسمنتية ومصانع الإسفلت لضمان مراجعة واعتماد وتفتيش واختبار وتخزين ومناولة وتتبع مواد البناء في الوقت المناسب طوال دورة حياة المشروع. سيكون مكرساً للإشراف على جميع سير العمل المتعلق بالمواد وعمليات الامتثال وإدارتها، وضمان التنسيق السلس بين فريق إدارة المواد وجميع الأقسام.
المهام والمسؤوليات
- مراجعة وتتبع المشتريات الاستراتيجية: قائمة المواد المعتمدة (AML)، وقائمة المواد المعتمدة للمشروع (PAML)، وتتبع المواد طويلة الأجل (LLI).
- تقديمات حوكمة المواد (MQG) والتخطيط: خطط إدارة المواد (MMPs)/خطط جودة المشتريات (PQPs)، وحزمة تعيين التفتيش (IAP)، واجتماعات ما قبل التفتيش (PIM)، وخطط اختبار وتفتيش الموردين/المصنعين (ITPs)، والسير الذاتية للمفتشين من جهات خارجية، ومراجعات السير الذاتية لفريق مواد المقاول وفريق مراقبة الجودة.
- الموافقات الفنية للمواد والموردين ووكالات الاختبار والتفتيش الخارجية: تقديمات التأهيل المسبق (PQDs)، والتقديمات الفنية للمواد (MATs)، وخطط حضور اختبارات القبول في المصنع (FAT Witnessing Plans)، وإجراءات اختبار القبول في المصنع (FATPs).
- التقييمات المادية والتحقق الميداني: العينات (SMPs)، والنماذج الأولية، وتجارب التصميم المختلط للمختبر (JMF)، وأنشطة حضور تجارب مصنع الخرسانة، وأنشطة حضور تجارب مصنع الإسفلت (HMA).
- التفتيش والاختبار: طلبات تفتيش المواد (MIRs)، وتقييم مختبرات الاختبار المتخصصة/الخارجية ووكالات التفتيش المستقلة.
الشروط والمتطلبات
- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة المعمارية/الإنشائية، أو هندسة المواد، أو هندسة التشييد، أو تخصص ذي صلة.
- 8+ سنوات من الخبرة ذات الصلة في هندسة مواد البناء، واختبار المواد، ومراقبة الجودة، أو إدارة جودة المشاريع.
- خبرة مثبتة في مشاريع المطارات الكبرى أو البنية التحتية أو الطرق أو المرافق أو مشاريع البناء واسعة النطاق.
- معرفة قوية بمواد البناء ومنهجيات الاختبار والمواصفات وعمليات الموافقة على المواد.
- خبرة في العمل مع المقاولين والاستشاريين والموردين ومختبرات الاختبار المعتمدة.
- فهم جيد لمتطلبات جودة المواد ومواصفات البناء.
- يُفضل شهادة مهنية في الهندسة.
- شهادة ACI أو NICET أو ASQ أو ما يعادلها في المواد/الاختبار تعتبر ميزة.
- يُفضل الحصول على شهادات مختبر أو اختبار مواد ذات صلة.
- شهادة ISO 9001 / إدارة الجودة تعتبر ميزة.
- شهادات ذات صلة في الخرسانة أو الإسفلت أو المواد الجيوتقنية تعتبر ميزة.

Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Materials Engineer (Architectural/Structural) to join our team!
The Materials Engineer will be responsible for managing and providing technical oversight of all construction materials engineering, testing, approval, inspection, and compliance activities across the project. The role will ensure that materials proposed and used by contractors comply with approved project specifications, applicable standards, design requirements, and client requirements.
The Materials Engineer position will coordinate closely with Materials Engineering, Quality, Construction, Procurement Engineering, Testing Laboratories, Independent Inspection Agencies, Consultants, Contractors, and Materials Suppliers, Manufacturers, Cement Concrete Batching Plants and Asphalt Plants to ensure the timely review, approval, inspection, testing, storage, handling, and traceability of construction materials throughout the project lifecycle.
The Materials Engineer dedicated to overseeing and managing all material-related workflows and compliance processes. To ensure seamless coordination between within Materials Management Team and all departments.
What You'll Be Doing:
Strategic Procurement Review and Tracking: Approved Materials List (AML), Project Approved Materials List (PAML), and Long Lead Items (LLI) tracking.
Materials Governance (MQG) Submittals & Planning: Materials Management Plans (MMPs)/Procurement Quality Plans (PQPs), Inspection Assignment Package (IAP), Pre-Inspection Meetings (PIM), Supplier/Manufacturer ITPs, Third Part Inspector CVs, Contractor's Materials Team CVs and PQCS CVs Reviews.
Vendors, Third Party Testing & Inspection Agencies, Materials Technical Approvals: Prequalification Submittals (PQDs), Material Technical Submittals (MATs), FAT Witnessing Plans, Factory Acceptance Testing Procedures (FATPs).
Physical Evaluations & Field Verification: Samples (SMPs), Mockups, Laboratory Mix Design (JMF) Trials, Concrete Plant Trials Witness Activities, Asphalt (HMA) Plant Trials Witness Activities.
Inspections & Testing: Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), and Third-Party/Specialized Testing Laboratories and Independent Inspection Agencies Assessments.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architectural/Structural Engineering, Materials Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in construction materials engineering, materials testing, quality control, or project quality management.
- Proven experience in major airport, infrastructure, civil, roads, utilities, or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, testing methodologies, specifications, and material approval processes.
- Experience working with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and accredited testing laboratories.
- Good understanding of material quality requirements and construction specifications.
- Professional Engineering certification is preferred.
- ACI, NICET, ASQ, or equivalent materials/testing certification is an advantage.
- Relevant laboratory or materials testing certifications are preferred.
- ISO 9001 / Quality Management certification is an advantage.
- Relevant pavement, concrete, asphalt, or geotechnical materials certifications are advantageous.
