Role Description The Ouching Machine Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Dammam, responsible for operating and monitoring ouching machinery used in the production of medical dressings. Daily tasks include setting up machines according to production specifications, performing basic adjustments, and ensuring continuous, safe operation throughout each shift. The role involves inspecting materials and finished products for defects, documenting production data, and reporting any mechanical or quality issues to supervisors or maintenance teams. The operator will follow standard operating procedures, adhere to health, safety, and quality guidelines, and collaborate with team members to meet production targets and maintain a clean, organized work area. This position may require standing for extended periods, handling materials, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong machine operation skills, including experience with industrial or manufacturing machinery.
• Knowledge of quality control practices, with the ability to inspect products and follow established standards.
• Familiarity with machinery and basic mechanical principles, including routine checks and minor adjustments.
• Ability to safely use hand tools required for setup, minor maintenance, and material handling.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues clearly.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, medical device production, or similar industrial environments is an advantage.
• Basic technical or vocational education in manufacturing, mechanics, or related fields preferred.
• Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pouching Machine Operator to operate and maintain advanced pouching machine equipment model PMK300 supplied by Harro Höfliger Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH.

The role involves ensuring efficient production of high-quality pouch products in compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the PMK300 pouching machine for continuous production
• Set up machine parameters including forming, pouching, sealing, and cutting processes
• Perform product changeovers, format adjustments, and line clearance
• Monitor critical process parameters (temperature, pressure, sealing integrity, pouching accuracy)
• Troubleshoot process issues to minimize downtime
• Conduct in-process quality checks and ensure compliance with GMP and SOPs
• Perform routine cleaning, and operational inspection of machine components
• Accurately complete production documentation and batch records
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and engineering teams for continuous improvement
• Ensure adherence to workplace safety and hygiene standards

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical vocational training (Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field preferred)
• Minimum 2-5 years of experience operating pouching, packaging, or web-processing machines
• Experience with automated production lines in pharma or medical productions.
• Basic understanding of PLC-controlled machinery and HMI interfaces
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and SOPs

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Harro Höfliger PMK or similar systems
• Knowledge of GMP, ISO standards, and cleanroom practices
• Familiarity with forming films, laminates, and sealing technologies
• Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience
