Job Summary :

The PCS 7 Engineer is responsible for the design, development, implementation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of Siemens SIMATIC PCS 7 Process Control Systems. The role includes software engineering, HMI development, system integration, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, troubleshooting, and project documentation activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and configure Siemens PCS 7 control applications, including CFC, CMT, SFC, alarms, interlocks, and third-party interfaces.
• Design and maintain WinCC HMI/SCADA graphics, trends, reports, and operator interfaces.
• Configure and program SIMATIC S7 PLCs (S7-400H, S7-410H, ET200 series).
• Support project engineering activities including system architecture, network design, and control system specifications.
• Review customer specifications, FDS, P&IDs, Cause & Effect diagrams, and control philosophies.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation such as FDS, SDS, IO Lists, Cause & Effect matrices, FAT/SAT procedures, and commissioning reports.
• Conduct Pre-FAT testing, system verification, and internal validation activities.
• Execute and support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with customers, addressing observations and punch items.
• Perform site commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, loop checking, and SAT activities.
• Provide technical support for system modifications, upgrades, and operational issues during plant startup and operation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with PCS 7, WinCC, and SIMATIC S7 platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Safety Systems (ESD/SIS).
• Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, DNP3 and OPC.
• Experience in FAT, SAT, commissioning, troubleshooting, and project documentation.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical reporting skills.
