تعلن شركة GE Vernova عن توفر وظيفة مهندس تصنيع (Manufacturing Engineer) في الدمام، المنطقة الشرقية، السعودية. ملاحظة: لا يتم توفير مساعدة إعادة توطين لهذه الوظيفة.

نبذة عن الوظيفة

يهدف هذا الدور إلى قيادة أنشطة التصنيع الهندسية لدعم تنفيذ عمليات الإنتاج الآمنة والفعالة وعالية الجودة لوحدات التوربينات الغازية المساعدة والأنظمة المعيارية. يركز المهندس على جاهزية التصنيع، تطوير العمليات، مسار التصنيع، قائمة المواد التصنيعية (MBOM)، تعليمات العمل، حل المشكلات الفنية، والتحسين المستمر لضمان التميز التشغيلي والتسليم في الوقت المحدد. يتطلب المنصب قيادة فنية قوية وتنسيقاً متعدد الأقسام والقدرة على دفع عمليات التصنيع من إصدار الهندسة إلى التنفيذ في ورشة الإنتاج.

المهام والمسؤوليات

  • قيادة أنشطة التصنيع الهندسية لأنظمة التوربينات الغازية المساعدة بما في ذلك نطاقات الأنابيب والتجميع الميكانيكي والكهربائي والأجهزة.
  • مراجعة الحزم الهندسية وضمان جاهزية التصنيع قبل التنفيذ.
  • تطوير وصيانة قائمة المواد التصنيعية (MBOM) ومسار التصنيع وتعليمات العمل (WI) ووثائق التصنيع.
  • تحديد استراتيجية التصنيع مقابل الشراء (make-versus-buy) والتنسيق مع فرق المشتريات والتخطيط.
  • ضمان التوافق بين الرسومات الهندسية ومتطلبات المواد وعمليات التصنيع.
  • دعم التنفيذ في ورشة الإنتاج من خلال حل المشكلات الفنية ودفع حل المشكلات في الوقت المناسب.
  • التنسيق مع فرق العمليات والجودة والتخطيط والمواد لضمان تدفق إنتاج سلس وإزالة الاختناقات.
  • قيادة تحليل السبب الجذري (RCA, 8D, 4D) لمشكلات التصنيع والجودة.
  • دعم تنفيذ واستدامة ممارسات الجودة المضمنة (Build-in-Quality) ومبادرات التصنيع الخالي من الهدر.
  • قيادة أنشطة التحسين المستمر مع التركيز على السلامة والجودة والتسليم والتكلفة (SQDC).
  • دعم أنشطة الاختبار الوظيفي وجاهزية التفتيش.
  • ضمان الامتثال لمواصفات المشروع ومتطلبات العميل والمعايير الدولية المعمول بها (ASME, API, ISO, ATEX, IECEX, UL وغيرها).
  • دعم تخطيط القوى العاملة ومراجعات السعة وتقييمات جاهزية التصنيع للمشاريع الجديدة.
  • اتخاذ القرارات بشأن الاحتياجات التدريبية لفريق الإنتاج.
  • توجيه ودعم المهندسين المبتدئين وفرق ورشة الإنتاج في عمليات التصنيع والمتطلبات الفنية.
  • المشاركة في مبادرات LEAN واستخدام أدوات Six Sigma لتحسين العمليات.
  • تطوير وتنفيذ تحسينات العمليات لتقليل التكاليف والدورات.
  • تنفيذ إجراءات الإنتاجية.
  • المشاركة في الإجراءات المتعلقة بالصحة والسلامة والبيئة لتحسين السلامة في منطقته.

الشروط والمتطلبات

  • درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة من جامعة أو كلية معتمدة.
  • خبرة لا تزيد عن 5 سنوات في هندسة التصنيع أو/و العمليات الصناعية أو مجال ذي صلة.
  • معرفة قوية بعمليات التصنيع، مسار التصنيع، قائمة المواد التصنيعية (MBOM)، تعليمات العمل، أو/و التنفيذ في ورشة الإنتاج.
  • الإلمام بالمعايير الدولية مثل ASME, API, ISO, ASTM, ATEX, UL, FM, أو/و IECEX أو/و المواصفات الصناعية ذات الصلة.
  • يجب أن يكون المتقدم لديه الحق القانوني للعمل في المملكة العربية السعودية دون الحاجة إلى كفالة شركة أو قيود زمنية.

المهارات المطلوبة

  • يفضل درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الميكانيكية أو الكهروميكانيكية أو الميكاترونيكس أو الصناعية أو الكهربائية من جامعة معتمدة.
  • الكفاءة في استخدام برامج CAD (NX Siemens).
  • خبرة في أنظمة التوربينات الغازية المساعدة.
  • شهادة Lean Six Sigma أو خبرة في التصنيع الخالي من الهدر.
  • الإلمام بممارسات الجودة المضمنة (BIQ) وأدوات التميز التشغيلي.
  • معرفة بأعمال اللحام وتصنيع الأنابيب والتفتيش والاختبار.
  • عقلية تشغيلية قوية مع التركيز على التنفيذ والجاهزية والانضباط العملي.
  • مهارات تواصل شفهية وكتابية قوية.
  • قدرة مثبتة على تحليل المشكلات وحلها.

Job Description Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for leading manufacturing engineering activities to support safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of production operations for gas turbine auxiliary skids and modular systems.

The role focuses on manufacturing readiness, process development, routing, MBOM, work instructions, technical problem solving, and continuous improvement to ensure operational excellence and on-time delivery.

The position requires strong technical leadership, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to drive manufacturing processes from engineering release through shop-floor execution.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing engineering activities for gas turbine auxiliary systems, including piping, mechanical assembly, electrical, and instrumentation scopes.
  • Review engineering packages and ensure manufacturing readiness before execution.
  • Develop and maintain Manufacturing BOM (MBOM), routing, work instructions (WI), and manufacturing documentation.
  • Define make-versus-buy strategy and coordinate with sourcing and planning teams.
  • Ensure alignment between engineering drawings, material requirements, and manufacturing processes.
  • Support shop-floor execution by resolving technical issues and driving timely problem resolution.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Quality, Planning, and Materials teams to ensure smooth production flow and eliminate bottlenecks.
  • Lead root cause analysis (RCA, 8D, 4D) for manufacturing and quality issues.
  • Support implementation and sustainment of Build-in-Quality (BIQ) practices and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement activities focused on SQDC.
  • Support functional testing, and inspection readiness activities.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, customer requirements, and applicable international standards (ASME, API, ISO, ATEX, IECEX, UL ...)
  • Support manpower planning, capacity reviews, and manufacturing readiness assessments for new projects.
  • Make decisions on training needs for the production team
  • Mentor and support junior engineers, ECTs and shop-floor teams on manufacturing processes and technical requirements.
  • Participate in LEAN initiative and engage Six Sigma tools for process improvements.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and cycles
  • Implement productivity actions
  • Participate in EHS related actions to improve safety in own area.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Maximum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, or/and industrial operations, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, routing, MBOM, work instructions, or/and shop-floor execution.
  • Familiarity with international standards such as ASME, API, ISO, ASTM, ATEX, UL, FM, or/and IECEX or/and related industrial specifications.
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restrictions.

Desired Characteristics

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electro-mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (NX Siemens)
  • Experience in gas turbine auxiliary systems.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or Lean manufacturing experience
  • Familiarity with Build-in-Quality (BIQ) practices and operational excellence tools
  • Knowledge of welding, piping fabrication, inspection, and testing activities
  • Strong operational mindset with focus on execution, readiness, and process discipline
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
