Role Description The Restaurant and Café Staff role at wacafe is a full-time, on-site position based in Al Ahsa. Team members are responsible for providing welcoming and efficient customer service, including greeting guests, taking orders, and responding to inquiries. Daily tasks include preparing and serving specialty coffee, other beverages, baked goods, and desserts according to company standards and recipes. Staff members help maintain cleanliness and organization in the café and restaurant areas, restock supplies, and ensure that food safety and hygiene procedures are followed at all times. The role also involves working collaboratively with colleagues, supporting smooth operations during peak hours, handling basic cash or POS transactions, and contributing to a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Food Preparation and Food & Beverage handling to consistently deliver high-quality menu items.
• Candidates should possess strong Food Service skills, including order handling and efficient table or counter service.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Food Safety practices to ensure hygiene, proper storage, and compliance with health standards.
• Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to create a friendly, professional, and responsive guest experience.
• Prior experience in cafés, restaurants, or hospitality is preferred; barista experience with specialty coffee is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and evenings, and to stand for extended periods.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills, with basic proficiency in POS or cash handling.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; training will be provided for the right candidates.
