Job Summary

Express Food Company (ALBAIK) is looking for a motivated Civil Engineer to join our Engineering team in Jeddah. You’ll support on-site construction activities, making sure our projects follow design plans, safety standards and schedules. The role helps deliver new restaurants and facilities in one of the region’s fastest-growing QSR businesses.

Purpose

To support the execution of engineering projects on site, making sure all work matches approved drawings, quality standards, safety requirements and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the preparation and review of civil engineering designs, drawings and specifications.
• Follow up on on-site construction activities to ensure quality and adherence to approved plans.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers and other engineers to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor project progress and timelines, and help resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates and documentation for management.
• Ensure construction work meets quality standards and safety regulations.
• Work closely with architects, electrical and mechanical engineers, and project managers.
• Support cost estimation and procurement with technical input.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. A High GPA is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are welcome. No experience required.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD. Revit, Civil 3D or other engineering software is a plus.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand construction standards.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Good Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Ability to work under pressure, with readiness to work on weekends and be on call when needed.
• Saudi nationality required. Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership is required or must be obtained within the Company’s specified period.
